Jacob Estrada has come a long way since last year when he decided to open up a YouTube account back in January last year where he posted cover songs and some original songs Jacob done this as a hobby just for some fun he had always enjoyed writing and singing and playing guitar of course but never thought he'd make a career out of it skip a few months and Jacob has released top five singles a number one album has performed at one of the biggest award shows ever and was nominated and he had even got signed by one of the biggest record labels out there it's safe to say he done rather well for himself having a lot of success in 2012 however after his last single "Missing You" he seemed to just disappear from the music scene for a pretty long time with no updates, interviews or performances some people may have forgotten about Jacob however he is now coming back to us with his final single from his album Chasing Changes. Chasing Changes is the is the fifth single from singer, songwriter, producer Jacob Estrada the song was on his debut album which was titled after the song Chasing Changes Jacob began writing this song awhile ago back it talks about his struggle with his alcohol addiction which actually got even worst after his father had passed away in a tragic car accident his older brother was also involved in the accident but survived Jacob never spoke of the addiction before this song as he usually says he'd much rather keep his personal life to himself however he wrote this song which speaks all about it how he felt what he went through and what it's like to be addicted to something Jacob almost didn't add this track on the album but decided to not long before it was released in hopes that maybe somebody else that was struggling with an addiction would hear it and overcome the addiction that they are suffering from he had hoped this song would be able to help lift them up out of it some how. The song starts out a slow electric guitar playing which was obviously played by Jacob as he is very known for his amazing guitar work he plays a little intro it sounds almost haunting before we hear a piano and drums the song has a very haunting feel to it it's one of the slower ballads from Jacob that always tend to be full of emotion as Jacob is a pretty emotional guy we finally hear Jacobs vocals come in he was singing this song a bit different than we know him to sing Jacob had a sexier sound on this song which was pretty unexpected he however sounded really amazing Jacob didn't have the most powerful voice but his voice was very nice on the ears as we listened to him sing the first verse very nicely the beat picked up just a bit more as he approached the chorus Jacob continues singing in that voice that we heard in the verse but he picked it up a bit more to go with the beat Jacob probably surprised as once again as we hear him sing the line "I'd like for someone to car but they don't give a fuck" which he doesn't usually say in his songs although he covered "Fuck It I don't Want You Back" it's still a bit surprising hearing him swear in one of his own songs however it went with the song well Jacob continued singing through the chorus before getting to the second verse the beat had gone back to normal like we heard it in the first verse Jacob calms his vocals more once again just like in the first verse Jacob sounded almost upset as he sang the first line in the second verse which goes "I can't look into the mirror I don't want to see what I've become" however he keeps that sexy sultry sort of voice as he continued singing Jacob sounded really good as he continued through the verse before the chorus came in again which was sung the same way it was sung the first time as Jacob approached the bridge of the song the beat got even more intense as did his voice Jacob didn't have an extremely powerful voice but there was something there and Jacob really showed it here in the bridge probably shocking and surprising people once again for what the third time in the song? Jacob then returns to the chorus the chorus which sounded sort of different from the last two times as the beat stayed intense and heavy so did Jacob's voice as he sang through the chorus and showed probably the best vocals we had heard from him before on almost any song he then repeated the chorus once more we then hear that little guitar playing once again through the outro of the song until it finally comes to an end
