"Boring without you," Vara says back as she wraps her arm around Trent's lower back and lays her head on his shoulder. "How have things been out here with Mariko?"

Vara nods. "I'm sure having somebody in the Hess clan doesn't exactly help..." She says slightly bitterly as they near the hotel.

Envy gets out of a horrible looking little cab in front of the Luxor hotel. She clears her throat and pays the driver. She looks like a real contrast to the horrid cab as she stands up, dressed as beautifully as she could manage. It was a tactic she had always thought of when she knew Pilgrim had cheated on her, to make herself look sexy to annoy and get at him. Her hair flows long, she is wearing a lacy bodice style shirt, matching lace black fingerless gloves and tight leather trousers. She is smoking a cigarette, which she tosses down and stamps out with her thigh high boot.

She walks into the hotel and after enquiring at the desk, she walks to the hotel room she knows Mariko is in. She takes a deep breath, keeping the serious look on her face and wiping away even the slightest sign of a tear before knocking the door.

Envy waits for the door to open, and when she hears Mariko move closer, she stands tall and brushes down her front. She shakes her head a little and is surprised to see Mariko cry when the door opens making it harder for her not to cry too. She sighs and fights the tears walking past Mariko. She did need a drink, but she didn't want to show Mariko that she needed anything at all. 'No," she says coldly and stands in the middle of the room.

Envy looks around the room and takes a seat as far from Mariko as she can. She looks at the glass and then turns her face away from it. She makes sure she isn't crying, hiding the tissue in her hand so Mariko can't see it. 'I had to come anyway. Being there all day I would have just have had to listen to those two laughing at me. All day.' She sighs and then balls her fists as tight as she can. 'He managed to get online before me. Do you know something....the worst part is that I had to hear the news from him because he saw it on Twitter. His sneering face to be the one to tell me you don't care about me.' She takes a deep breath and stops for a minute because she feels tears coming. 'No! No I don't deserve it, Mariko! You could have kicked me, punched me, killed me even. After everything I've been through, the last thing I needed after trusting someone is for them to prove that everyone is the same!' She stands up, breathing heavily as the tears fall silently down her face.

Envy starts to cry and brings her hands to her face. 'So six days without hearing from me just means you go and leap on the first person that you can? Mariko, you don't think when I've been in bars the last week I haven't had guys come up to me and try it on? You know what I told them? I told them I had a girlfriend! I don't buy that you did it because you didn't hear from me. I want the real reason and I want it now! You hurt me like you promised you wouldn't and you owe me an explanation.' She sits down, her whole body shaking, and stares at Mariko as if waiting for a reply.

Envy feels angry that it feels Mariko is trying to blame her. She shakes her head at her girlfriend and looks at the floor for a few minutes. 'Do you see the bus we are touring in? How do you suggest I charge my cell in there? My phone has been off Mariko! It's hard to answer it when I can't even get it to switch on!' She growls a little as she covers her own face and then looks down at the picture on Mariko's phone of the two of them together, trying not to cry. 'It IS the time for telling me why. I want to know why and unless you want me to just leave then you better tell me why,' she says. Her voice trembles as the tears threaten to come back again.

Envy thinks for a long time, the silence in the room deafening. 'It was only six days, Mariko. Only six days. I don't understand why that suddenly means that jumping in bed with....not even one, but two people, is the best idea. I would never have done that to you ever. I been lying in the back of that horrid van every night just thinking 'it's all ok...because just another week of this and I get to go see Mariko.' But while I was thinking that...you were...you were with them.' She starts crying again. 'Behind my back, Mariko. When he did it it hurt but I knew about it back then. I knew what he was doing and I knew I couldn't trust him. I thought I could trust you. I thought you wouldn't hurt me like he did.' She puts her head in her hands and sobs.

Envy lifts her head to look around a few minutes later. She does so just in time to see Mariko delete their faces from her background. This fills her with another wave of sadness, feeling as if Mariko has just given up on her by doing that. 'Why did you delete us?' She asks, realising the symbolism in the whole thing as soon as the words are out of her mouth. She stares at Mariko.

Envy sighs. 'So is that it then? You are just going to decide to walk away from me and not even try to realise that....why do you think I flew halfway around the world, Mariko? Why?' She almost shouts it at her. 'You could at least try to look like you care.'
