Envy looks sadly at Mariko. 'It feels like you would rather I just left. I didn't come here to give up easily, but it seems almost like you want me to walk away. If you want me to leave then say it to me and I'll go. I will. Just tell me something.' She looks down and her shoulders shake as she cries. |

mariko takes a deep breath and gets off the bed.she walks over to envy and lightly puts her hand on her shoulder. " do not go....ever" mariko says in between her own sobs. " i was trying to give you an easy out.which you have not taken." mariko wipes envy's tears with her sleeve. "whatever you want to know,i will tell you.i have no secrets." she says,afraid of what it is envy wishes to know. |

Envy sighs and looks up at Mariko. 'I need.....I need something to prove to me that if I go back to the UK and you stay here, that I can trust you. I need to know that I don't have to fear the same happening again. Prove it to me.' She wipes her tears. |

mariko exhales nearly all of her air out."thank you,envy." she says quietly. she thinks for all of a second. before taking off a gaudy,yet very expensive looking hello kitty ring. she gently hands it to envy. "my word means nothing at the moment. but i give you this to symbolize it will never happen again. my father bought it for me as a graduation present. hitomi's father also bought her one. both of our parents were killed in that terrible tsunami.it is my most prized possession. hitomi gave hers to her wife as a wedding ring. nothing i own means more to me than that ring." mariko says softly,wiping her eyes. |

"take the ring until you know you can trust me. if i fuck up,sell it or whatever. you can buy a house for what it is worth."mariko says,handing her the ring again. she meekly kisses envy's cheek,where the tears are. "envy,i am sorry. i totally disrespected you,hurt you and destroyed any trust you had in me. i promise to never,ever let you down again." she says,looking into envy's eyes. Envy stares at the ring for a few moment as she cries quietly. She the takes her necklace off and slides the ring onto the chain, allowing it to slide down. 'I promise I'll look after it," she whispers as the tears keep rolling down her face. 'All I want, Mariko, is to know that you really want me and don't just think I'm worthless like anyone else I've ever been with. I just want to know that I mean something to you. I just felt like you didn't want me anymore when you did that. And I love you. It hurt me.' She cries. 'I just love you.' |

Envy looks down and smiles for the first time since she got here. She wipes her tears again and then nods. 'I know Mariko. I just want to be happy. I want you to be happy. I want to make you happy and be the reason you smile. I was scared I had done something that made you want someone else.' She holds her hand for the first time. 'I....I want to tell you something. When I came here today.....I was going to punch you. That was my plan to punch you as hard as I could and then leave. But then I saw you and remembered how much I love you and I couldn't. I just wanted you all over again . I could never hurt you. I'm sorry for even thinking that.' |

Envy hugs Mariko back tightly, squeezing her and starting to cry harder as well. 'I'm not too good for anyone. I'll try to be a better girlfriend I promise. I'll call and I'll try to stay in touch all the time.' She holds Mariko close. 'As soon as I saw you I hated that I still wanted you. Now I'm glad I do. ' envy nods. 'Of course I love you. Of course, I do love you. Even after all of this nothing will change.' She smiles a little and pulls her close. 'I won't hit you now. I just....I just got mad at the time.' |

mariko stops mid squeeze and holds envy at arm's length. "you are so too good for most everyone.you are a perfect girlfriend,envy. i will be a better girlfriend,and not assume you abandoned me if something like the phone situation comes up." mariko brings her back close. "i am so glad you still wanted me." mariko cries and sniffles. "i would have hated to see you walk out the door and never come back."she kisses envy's neck. "i heard you were an opening act." she says softly. "i am so proud of you,envy." |

Envy looks into Mariko's eyes when she holds her in front of her. 'Mariko....don't worry about it anymore. Try to move past it so we can be happy and not have it hanging over us yes?' Envy smiles. 'I don't want it to be what defines us. We can be happy girlfriends again. I just want us to be happy together now.' She holds her close and squeezes, kissing her cheek. 'I could never walk out on you really.' She smiles again. 'Thank you. It was a wonderful experience. Much better than with the band.' |

Envy nods and strokes Mariko's hair gently. 'I promise not to mention it too. Promise me though....if you meet Pil one day, he will mention it. Just rise above it. Its the only way to beat him. He hates that.' She smiles and runs her hand along Mariko's cheek. 'You're so cute. Didn't I say I loved you in the past?' She giggles a little. 'We can play a show together some time. Envy smiles and holds Mariko close. 'I would love to see someone beat on him. Sadly he is very strong and I'm scared of him so I never could. Maybe if we take your sword microphone we could beat him in surround sound.' She tilts her head as she thinks. 'I should have told you that I loved you before. I'm sorry. You must have thought I was so rude not to tell you.' She smiles and holds Mariko's hands tight. 'I'm just so glad that we are doing ok and that it won't come to an end because I would miss you far too much.' |

Mariko lightly caresses envy's face,wondering if pilgrim has ever struck her where she is caressing. The thought makes her tear up. " that would be hilarious." She starts making a swinging motion with her arms ." Ow! Stop,Stop! Not my nads!" She says in a manly voice. "You do no have to be scared anymore,envy. You have so many people who love you." She brings envy's hand to her mouth and kisses it. " I am happy you did not say you loved me immediately after I said it. This way shows you really mean it." Mariko hugs envy tightly,starting to sob again. |

Katie had been out all day working on some new music, and she was driving home now. Something didn't seem right though. As she drove, she kept pushing her glasses up on her face and staring into the rear view mirror of her truck. She turned down some little streets she normally wouldn't and still looked concerned, before she finally arrived home. Getting out of the car, she closed the door and ran inside, locking the house door behind her and taking her glasses off. |
