As the leading guitar melody starts, the first verse comes. VERSE #1 Lyrica sings the first verse almost slowly and with a bitter vibe which increases the feeling of anger of the song. Always escaping, but I'm innocent You always chase me wherever I'm going to Even when I cry I'm so silent Why did I ever fell for you VERSE #2 When the verse ends, another one starts as other synths join the instrumentation. I feel the suspence, this makes no sense I feel my heart, beating loud But no sound is allowed When I hide from you PRE-CHORUS After the second verse, most instruments stop playing leaving Lyrica's soft vocals, the bass and the kick playing alone for the short pre-chorus. I didn't know That love could take me so low CHORUS As soon as Lyrica says the word 'low', the chorus explodes with all the instruments playing a long, quite angry melody with the guitar leading the whole instrumentation. Lyrica sings high notes and a backing low choir can be heard too. With your knife You cut my life And you stop my heartbeat Can't believe how I have to be treat The pain is going to increase I'm just asking for some peace Because of my heart you're the only killer When I feel part of this love thriller VERSE #3 When Lyrica finishes singing, a synth plays a catchy melody which replaces the leading guitar. When the melody ends, the intensity of the beat decreases for the new verse. I'm the victim, let me run away I've never felt so afraid Will I ever see the new day Or is my body going to fade PRE-CHORUS At the end of the verse, the short pre-chorus is repeated. I didn't know That love could take me so low CHORUS The chorus is repeated in the same way too but the following melody made by the synth that replaces the guitar leads to the middle 8. With your knife You cut my life And you stop my heartbeat Can't believe how I have to be treat The pain is going to increase I'm just asking for some peace Because of my heart you're the only killer When I feel part of this love thriller BRIDGE The new leading synth plays along with the drums and the bass a new melody as Lyrica sings almost screaming. If you kill me, if you kill me I will be back to you To haunt you like a ghost and make you see All that I'm going through So you'll be the victim of the thriller I'll be your heart killer CHORUS As the middle 8 comes to its end with an impact kick, the chorus is repeated twice. It has some great lyrics and we worked hard to find the right words and everything is calculated to fit and stay in the right place. I've honestly never felt like a victim of someone in a relationship so the lyrics aren't exactly something that comes from my heart, but I love them and I'm sure a lot people can relate to the song. I also think that Will.Rocca made a great job with the beat as it's definately very catchy and yet it manages to sound aggressive and really catches the whole meaning of the song. REVIEWS: PopDust (4/5) It's hard to stand out and make yourself a career when you come from a girl band but if most of Lyrica's solo music sounds like her debut solo single, 'Love Thriller', we think that she may actually make it. The song manages to impress without trying to sound too innovative and Lyrica also shows some good singing abilities never heard before during her G2L days, so she's definately a new big popstar in the making if she keeps going like this. Culture Uncut (3,5/5) Lyrica Ocha has finally decided to go solo and release her own music as her first single 'Love Thriller' hits the stores next month, but is it worth to be bought? Well, we think that this first single is not bad, but it is not a brilliant innovation either. The song definately tries to make an impact but somehow it fails due to the lack of a highly catchy parts, which is something that a popstar like Lyrica should always have in a song. When she suddenly stops to look back, the song starts and the scene changes to Lyrica walking in a forest, where she sings the first verse. She then sits down near a lake to sing the second verse, during which a shadow can be seen moving around her and when it stops, Lyrica sees it during the short pre-chorus part, after which she immediately gets up and runs away while singing the chorus. The shadow keeps chasing Lyrica and when the chorus ends, she finds an abandoned house and tries to get in it. So she opens the door, the new verse starts and she looks more quiet as she sits down and sings. When the pre-chorus comes, Lyrica looks at the window and sees the shadow again, so she gets up and runs upstairs while the chorus is repeated. As she gets to hide in a big wardrobe, she sings the middle eight while the shadow is moving in the room. At the end of the middle eight, Lyrica decides to get out of the wardrobe and face the shadow, who reveals to be a guy who smiles at Lyrica and shows her a box of chocolates and some roses. So during the chorus, the two kiss and make love to each other, but as soon as the chorus is repeated, the guy suddenly shows a knife and tries to kill Lyrica, who manages to kick him with a karate move and leave him on the floor. So during the ending of the song, Lyrica gets out of the house walking and looking confident as she holds the roses and the chocolates like trophies under the sunrise.
