The pop queen is most known for her numerous amount of hit singles throughout the 80s and 90s such as Virgin Queen (1984), Material Girl (1984), Ocean Blue (1986), On Your Feet (1986), En Vouge (1990), In Time (1998) - including classic albums by Madeena like Virgin Queen (1984). Madeena is one of the only artists that have successfully stayed relevant from the mid-80s through to the 21st century, and unlike most modern day legends who just have that natural ability to stay on top, Madeena had to fight to stay on top. Her 2013 musical comeback marks her return from a 5-year hiatus. Her last album, Candy Treats which was her eleventh studio album, was released in 2007 and has since sold over four million copies.Her last concert tour Candy Sweet, which ran from 2007-2008, sold out with a total of 85 dates played and grossed US$308 million. Along with a new album out before this year ends, Madeena is also planning on embarking on her ninth concert tour this year to promote her upcoming twelfth studio album. Her site relaunch is set to be up tomorrow.
