OOC: I hate hospitals... :(

"Steal only the things that look moderately expensive and hard to replace," Ada says back with her arms crossed, still peeved about the state of America's health system. She taps her foot on the floor and looks around. "This chair looks like a torture device..."

"Can you imagine how much more money we could get for this when we specifically say that it was stolen by The Erich Hess?" Ada says with a giggle right before the doctor comes in. She grips the chair, wishing like fuck that she had taken the rolly stool when she had the chance.

"Alright... BRCA test... Go ahead and hold out your arm, Mrs. von Wannemaker..." The doctor says, and Ada does so. The doctor takes one of the cotton balls of alcohol and rubs it on Ada's wrist, making Ada jump.

Ada's eyes get wide. "The doctor is not here to rape me, Herr Hess!" She says in a harsh whisper right as the needle goes into her vein. She closes her eyes tightly to keep from screaming, her hand grasping Erich's tightly. "Sohn einer Hure..." She says quietly when the doctor pulls of the needle and puts the cotton ball and band-aid over the puncture.

Ada sits on her and Erich's bed, her knees pulled up to her chest. 'Options' was the word that they had used. She had 'options'. She had basically been handed a death sentence, if not for herself, then for her career. She sighs and lays her forehead down on her left knee, periodically rolling it to the other one. Not a good day. Nope. Not one for the books.

Ada shakes her head, not able to say anything back. She grabs her purse and takes out the paper that the doctors gave her. 'Positive for the BRCA1 gene.'

Ada nods. "It just means there is a drastically increased chance..." She says back with a small shiver, trying to keep the tears down. "One of the options they gave me..." she says with such distaste for the word 'options,' "is a mastectomy..." She shakes her head.

Ada nods and sniffs a little. "I really like my boobs..." She says quietly, laying her head against Erich. "I want to wait and see."

Ada sniffs, and lets out a small laugh. "Stop pretending you do not cry... I will not judge you..." She says, a couple tears going down her cheeks. "I do not want to lose my boobs. I like them... even if they are ticking time bombs..."

Ada nods. "I will... Every month, I will go for an exam. I promise. I promise," She says back, wiping her tears away quickly. "I love you so much."

Ada giggles a little as well, then lets out a long sigh. "Alright... At least we know now. No more waiting..."
