Airemese Smith , known as Coke in PBR&B duo Rum & Coke , is a Canadian-American Singer , Songwriter , Dancer . Smith is of Zimbabwean , Norwegian , Irish and Danish descent . She was born February 26th , 1992 to Zimbabwean-Canadian father , Dakarai Smith and Norwegian-Canadian mother , Anniken Dahl-Smith . Ever since a very young age , Airemese loved music and aspired to be a singer . Her parents saw the ambition in her and wanted to support as much as they could . At the age of 5 , her parents put her into dance classes and the age of 9 , vocal lessons . " Mother's Day , Father's Day , Birthday's ... They were the one time I had an excuse to put on a whole performance for my parents . It took them some time to catch on *giggles* , but , they eventually saw where I was heading with it and did everything they could for me to pursue my dream . " Airemese attended middle school at R.H.King Academy , where she met Nina Tarantino , for high school she attended Etobicoke School of the Arts in the dance department ( for ballet ) . At the age of 16 she moved out of her house and flew to America with Nina . In 2O12 , Nina & Aire posted a few video's under the name , Rum & Coke and went viral , becoming youtube sensations . Airemese moved to Hollywood with Nina and released their debut album , Venom & Versace , which managed to reach #12 on the charts .

Biography
Nina Taramino , known as Rum in PBR&B duo Rum & Coke , is a Cuban-American Singer , Songwriter , Rapper . She was born September 21st, 1992 to Cuban father , Alvaro Taramino and Cuban-Bajan mother , Zora Taramino in Bayamo, Granma . As a young child in Cuba , she grew up listening to Gloria Estafan and Selena and her grandmother even taught her how to play the piano . At the time Latino Rap was really jumping up in Cuba , which really captivated Nina's heart . Her father , Alvaro Taramino , was involved in a life of crime and drugs to support his family . Once he decided that he would discontinue his dangerous ways he Cuba wasn't a safe place for his family anymore , so in 2OO5 , at the age of 13 , Nina's family moved to Toronto, Ontario . They enrolled her into R.H.King Academy , where she met Airemese Smith . She also attended Etobicoke School of the Arts in the music department (for piano) with Airemese Smith . She moved out of her house to live with her in 2OO8 and in 2O12 , Nina & Aire posted a few video's under the name , Rum & Coke and went viral , becoming youtube sensations . Manager of Rum & Coke and mother of Airemese Smith (Coke) , Anniken Dahl-Smith , explains for us the meaning and aim behind Rum & Coke's future album " Epiphany " :

The second album , " Epiphany ", will show examples of how a lot of us are politically , mentally , and/or possessively blinded in everyday life . Whether its something like he's just not that into you , or maybe you aren't who you think you are , it's all a realization . There is a lot of stuff in this world that we don't understand ; love , politics , feelings , money ... the list goes on and on . So this album contains songs , that tells stories of people going through just those same misunderstandings , more specifically Rum & Coke . They are always try their best to be relatable to fans , so that was one of the goals for this album . Though there are tracks [[ SPOILER ALERT ]] , like Epiphany , Ain't What It Seems , Wake Up , and Take My Hand , that doesn't tell stories . These songs are aimed at the illusion that has been created in this world to make us chase the " American Dream " , reveries that almost never comes to fruition , a literal one in a million thing , to keep us distracted from the corruptness and real problems of this world . All in all , this album is going to be an eye opener , aimed to encourage you to wake up ; aimed to give you an epiphany and to face it .

erich: i dont use it for that! ada is very clear on the separation of bedroom and kitchen. even spankings with the wooden spoons are out. we have some great ikea ones too. though now i question my childhood. grandma hess cooked everything in crisco....
