So my cat recently just gave birth to four kittens... And by recently I mean only two weeks ago. I'm beginning to get tired of coming in from work at this time and being torpedoed by her the second my I have my key out of the door because she eats about three times as much. >.< Would help if my flatmate ever fed her. I want to sleeeep. |

No idea if Gildy has visited here in a while. Not sure if he's left Canada yet. But thought you'd be interested to hear that my sister's getting married at some point in the next 12 months. Or so I'm lead to believe.

Still in Canada. Boy we haven't spoken in a while. I hadn't heard that yet, but that's cool. Seems like everyone I know is getting married all of a sudden. I'll probably be there, unless I manage to get my shit in gear for New Zealand before then. |

I was with some friends at a party last night when the house owner's dog was ran over by a car and died in front of all of us. I wish I could erase what I saw from my mind, that was the worst bad trip I ever had. |

So I am paid slightly more than British Columbia's minimum wage, but my deductions (two different income taxes, employment insurance and the Canadian Pension Plan) amount to over 25%. I'm not a Canadian citizen, so I don't actually have to pay these taxes, or rather I do, but they will pay them back to me assuming I earn less than whatever the threshold is (which I most certainly will). But the personal tax year ends in December, so at some point early 2014, I'm going to get a cheque from the Canadian government for probably $800+, which will be nice, but it would be even nicer if they would just give me that money right now, just before I set off on my Grand North American Tour. |

So i've been going out with my girlfriend for about 2 months now. She has figured it's time for me to meet her parents tonight. Shitting my pants. I had only met the parents of a girlfriend once before and that's because I was going out with her for a year (16). Three years on, it doesn't get any easier. My attempts at 'playing it cool' should be very interesting later. |
