Home, it's been done now, it turned my hair ginger! :( I was going to say... You're not going to do it in one if you do it at home. Get a leave-in or deep conditioner, or at least make sure you condition it well next time you wash it. Give it a day or two, then do it again, and you should get to a more yellowy stage, depending on the volume you use, but bleach stops working after a while anyway. What volume did you use and how long did you leave it on for? And whole head application or just areas like the tips or streaks? EDIT: My hair's naturally quite dark brown, one bleaching sent me to this stage of lightness: http://i31.tinypic.com/2euhmw6.jpgIf it's lighter than that, you should have an easy job, if it's darker, than you have more trouble on your hands. It was done by a hair-dresser at my house, i'm shit at these things. My hair is as dark as it gets, completly black, it actually suits the ginger part (Which is practically the middle of my hair.) I think the volume was 12 and was left on for half an hour to three quaters. I kinda like my hair now but I have been insulted but ahhhh who gives a shit :P Your hairdresser at least used a 40 on your hair then, which is the right thing to do for naturally coarse and/or black (or dyed brown/black) hair. Gives the highest lift, but stating the obvious of course... It could have probably got away with being left on longer, as normally you're fine for an hour. Did you use any heat methods or put a wrap on it? Odd it only lifted to ginger though... 40 is damn strong stuff. But since it's only part of your hair, it's easier to lighten anyway. I'm guessing the hairdresser told you before doing it if you were aiming to get it to blonde that it'd take more than one shot? One more process with a 40 (12%) or maybe even a 30 (9%) should take it to a yellow colour anyway. You can actually get 60 vol (18%) peroxide, which would take black to blonde in the same period, but I've only ever heard horrid things about the damage it does. It's only available at salons to hairdressing students as well, not usually for public purchase, but hey ho you can get hold of anything these days. |

I sleep in, I wake up at about noon, take a shower, eat a bit, go on the computer, hang out with friends, watch a late night movie, go to sleep again, and I repeat. |

Size 10 from the women's section at Dorothy Perkins doesn't quite cut it xD |

If it looks nice, I'll buy it. It had the right cut cause it ends slightly higher than most jackets with a slightly tighter sleeve cut. and so long as you mix light blue ones with black jeans, you're good to go ;) It's all in how you mix it though! That particular day I had a blue/white stripy longsleeve on too and my treble clef christmas decoration necklace, hahah ;) |

Why thank you ;)
I'm awful for impulse buying clothes though, it's where I get my fashion-conscious head from, and why I'm poor, hahah! |
