Neil takes her hand and they walk out of Wendy's onto the crowded streets. "I think the venue is...uh.." he sticks a finger in his mouth and then up into the air, testing the wind. "Um....this way!" he says, running down the street, almost dragging Carmen along behind him by the arm.

"Oh, um.." he stops running, having to think about it. "Oh! Yeah! there's Sam, he's the guy who screams all the time, and there's Tony, who plays guitar, and then there's the new guys, Scott and Jay. They're pretty cool, and it's fun because since they're the new guys I can always be like 'CARRY MY DRUMS, NEW GUYS!' or 'GO PICK UP CHINESE FOOD, NEW GUYS!'"

"I'm allowed to be mean to them! Well that's what Tony says." He shrugs, "It's Sam's job to scream. Like my job is to hit things. He screams. But not all the time. Only when he's on stage."

"Yep. We're always nice people!" he says as they arrive in the parking lot of tonight's venue. Neil walks over to their bus and knocks at the door. "What!?" yells a voice from inside. The door opens and Scott peers out at the two. He is tired, unshaven, and hungover; a party hat on his head and his guitar still slung over his arm. "Neil, you woke me up...oh," he says, as he finally notices Carmen. He straightens up and tries to look a bit more presentable. "You brought a girl with you?" Scott asks. Neil smiles and nods. "This is Carmen. They play her music on the radio sometimes. Now go get us some drinks, new guy!!" Scott groans and holds the door open for both of them to come onto the bus.

"Hi, Carmen. I'm Scott," he says, closing the door after them. Neil sits down on the couch, beckoning Carmen to sit down beside him. "Where's everybody, new guy?" Neil asks. Scott shakes his head as he opens the mini fridge and looks through it. "I think Sam and Tony went out for some food. Jay's sleeping in the back. You guys want anything to drink?" he asks. "Red bull, new guy," Neil says. He looks at Carmen, "you want anything?"

"Umm...we've got mike's hard lemonade," he says. "Unless you're one of those straight edge thingies like Sam." He pulls out a red bull and throws it over to Neil.

He hands her the drink and pulls himself out a four loko. He sits down across from them and takes a long drink. "So...what brings you to the bus? Are you a fan or what?" Neil opens and finishes his red bull with a few long gulps and throws the can across the bus. "I told you, new guy, Carmen makes music too. Not like death metal, but it's still pretty good." Scott nods. "I see....how do you, uh, know Neil?" he asks, surprised that Neil is hanging out with a member of the opposite sex.

"Yep!" Neil says. "I was walking Cappy and I met Carmen." Scott nods. "So are you two...uh...together?" he asks, looking at Carmen.

"Y-yes?" Neil says, looking at Carmen. He turns to Scott and smiles, very pleased. "Uh, yes. Yes we are," he says, grinning a bit. Scott nods. "I see..." he says, trying to figure out if Carmen is crazy or just taking pity on Neil.

"Er, no, not at the moment," Scott says, taking another drink of four loko. "It's hard when you're on the road all the time. I'm surprised Neil can manage it." Neil smiles and scoots closer to Carmen. "Actually, I was wondering if Carmen could come with us? Like on tour?" he asks. "Err...well, I don't know. You'd have to ask Sam and Tony," Scott replies. "Carmen will be good! I promise!" Neil says, looking at Carmen. "You'll be good, right?"
