Gia kisses his cheek. "You're so cute when talk about things like this." She laughs. "Yeah, we'll make them all appreciative of each other."

Gia nods and squeezes his hand back. "Ready babe.." She feels a little nervous about Sophie's reaction, hoping she won't be too dramatic. As they walk over to them she sits in the chair beside them. "Hey, can we play?"

Gia smiles at Sophie, holding her in her lap. "You're getting so big Sophie." She kisses her head and smiles. "Daddy and I wanna talk to you okay? You know we love you girls very much and that'll never change but there's going to be a new addition coming soon to the family.." She watched Sophie to see if she worked it out.

Gia chuckles at her and nods. "Mommy does have a fat belly and you know why? Because there's a little baby inside...your little brother Soph." She gently places her hand on her belly, smiling. "You get to be a big sister again, you and Bailey will."

Scott smiles at Gia as she talks to Sophie. Bailey listens, picking up the odd word but not really following what's going on. Scott nods. "You remember when Bailey came to see us Soph don't you? Well now we're gonna get a new baby who will come to stay and he'll love you very much because he'll be your baby brother."
Sophie looks at him and then back at Gia. Her mind tries to work everything out. "No." She says softly. "No baby."

Sophie looks at Gia and then she starts to cry a little. She was still young, and her brain was telling her that a new baby would mean she wasn't their baby anymore. She hugs Gia. "Sophie Bailey is mommy daddy baby." She speaks quietly as she tries her best to tell Gia she is scared of being replaced. "New baby...you favourite," she says. Scott sighs. He expected her to scream and shout but this made him sad to see Sophie think they would favour a new baby over her and Bailey.

Scott puts an arm around Gia and leans in to kiss her cheek. "Don't worry babe," he whispers. "She'll be fine. She just needs reassured."
He sits back up and looks at Sophie. "Soph, mommy and daddy always love you. A new baby coming here won't change that. You will always be our baby too." He smiles at her. "And you get a new brother who will love you so much because you'll be his big sister, just like Bailey loves you so much."
Bailey looks over and sees Sophie crying and it upsets her. She looks up to Sophie in every way and seeing her sad makes Bailey sad. She reaches out to her as she tries to say her name. "Soapy" is all that comes out in a tiny little voice, her best attempt. But it makes Sophie smile so wide as she hears it.

Bailey smiles when everyone looks at her surprised. She points at Sophie and says it again. "Soapy!" Scott chuckles and kisses her on the head. "Such a clever girl, Bailey. That is Sophie, yeah!" Scott smiles at Sophie. "You see how much Bailey loves you Soph? She said your name before anyone else's." Sophie looks up at Gia with a big smile on her face. "Bailey speak my name!" She says. "Mommy, Bailey speak my name!"

Sophie thinks for a little moment. Suddenly, Bailey saying her name made the idea of having a brother not seem so bad. She looked up at Gia. "Baby will say Sophie's name too?" She asks, looking down towards the baby bump.

Sophie listens and then smiles, putting her head on Gias bump. "Baby is OK," she says softly.
