"Well..." Scott says, looking at her, "...well I guess it's okay with me. You still have to ask the other guys though."

"Well, Sam and Tony said they'd be back soon, and Jay's sleeping in the back...you could go wake him up if you want," Scott says. "Just make sure you're really loud. He, uh, likes it when people wake him up suddenly with loud noises." Neil nods to confirm this, willing to take any opportunity possible to annoy his fellow bandmates.

"FUCK!!" comes the muffled cry from underneath Jay's blanket. The edge of the blanket lifts up and an empty bottle sails out, whizzing past Carmen's head and into the main room of the bus, smashing on the floor. "Hey, new guy! You're gonna have to clean this up!" Neil yells, lifting his feet for fear of stepping on glass. Jay wriggles around violently, shaking the blanket off of him. "You assholes, I'm going to fucking....oh..." he says, seeing Carmen. "Oh, uh...hello. Stay right here, I'll be back after I kick those guys asses," he says, lumbering out of bed straight for Scott and Neil. Neil jumps behind the couch, screaming, "No! Bad new guy! No violence! Make fuck, not kill!" Scott, almost crying with laughter, runs out of the door of the bus right into Sam and Tony, who are carrying armfuls of chinese food. The containers crumple, sending chicken chow mein and wonton soup everywhere. "My wontons!" Sam cries, more worried about the food he's lost than about the scalding hot broth that his entire front has been doused with. As soon as he hears about the food, Jay stops in his tracks. His look changes from one of anger to one of sadness. "Oh my god...look what I've done..." he says, collapsing on the couch, looking ready to cry after witnessing the loss of the band's lunch. "Umm...hi Jay.." Neil says, poking his head up from behind the couch. "I just wanted you to meet my...girlfriend....Carmen..." he says, motioning over to her.

"Uh...hi Carmen," Sam says, grabbing a towel to clean wonton soup off the front of his shirt. "I'm Sam, actually. The guy who was screaming is Jay," he says, pointing to Jay. "And Tony is the guy who's trying to scrape chinese food off the floor." Tony looks up from the entrance of the bus, his hands filled with noodles. "Oh...a girl. What's she doing here?" he asks. Neil jumps over the couch to stand beside Carmen. "She's my, uh, lady friend. I mean girlfriend. Right?" he says, looking at Carmen to confirm it. Before she can answer he turns back to Tony and nods. "Yeah. His girlfriend," Sam says. He looks at Carmen in a concerned way, perhaps trying to figure out whether she's actually Neil's girlfriend or if Neil has kidnapped her and somehow brainwashed her into believing such.

"Oh, well....good job, Neil," Sam says, giving Neil a pat on the arm. He looks over at the mess of food on the ground, sighs, and starts cleaning it up. "Yeah, Neil, good job," Tony says, standing up and wiping his hands off on his jeans. "I never thought I'd see the day that our Neil would show up on the bus with a girl," he says, looking at Carmen. Neil beams proudly at the rest of the band. "So what's your business out here, Carmen?" Sam asks, looking up as he scrubs chinese food off the floor.

"Being rock stars," Tony says. "Er, more like quasi-metal stars," Sam corrects him. "Oh!" Neil says, remembering something, "can Carmen stay with us? I mean, on tour? She'll be good, and Scott said she could!" he asks pleadingly. The rest of the band look at Scott, who shrugs. Sam looks back at Carmen. "Um....are you sure you want to be on tour with us? I mean...it's not exactly the nicest environment..." he says, looking around at their filthy bus, filled with empty bottles, cans, and containers of takeout.

"Oh...well, if you want to, be my guest," Sam says. The rest of the band nod in agreement, as Sam seems to have the most authority of all the members. "Yayy!" Neil exclaims, jumping up and down with excitement. "This is going to be awesome!" he says to Carmen.
