Thriller by far is the best-selling album of all time. It sold a total of 110 million copies. Second best-selling album is AcDc's Back in Black, which sold 49 Million copies. See the large gap!
My favorite album of all time has to be either International Superhits!-Green Day or Echoes-Pink Floyd |

I realise there's a huge gap, Not to sure about International Superhits it's a good album yeah but i'm not a big fan of compilation albums although echoes from Pink Floyd i think is a pretty good shout.

You cant have International Superhits as its not, technically speaking, an album. :p
My favourite album of all time is probably "Black Holes and Revelations" by Muse, every song is class. |

My favorites are Either...
Slipknot's "Vol. 3 The Subliminal Versus"
or
Coheed and Cambria's "Good Apollo, I'm Buring Star IV, Vol. 1, From Fear Through The Eyes of Madness." |
Too much leather chair is unsightly and greatly increases your risk of leather-smell. |

Greatest Hits albums are never eligible for these things. Meh, my favourite album is probaby Still Life by Opeth, whether that makes it the greatest album of all time, I have my doubts. For greatest I'd be tempted to go with Beach Boys - Pet Sounds or maybe Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisted. I dunno. Plenty of good records out there to choose from. |

The concept of Greatest Artist/Album/Song is something which is rather farfetch'd and will never be decided. I don't get why anyone asks the question, to be honest. |

I think it's more about your opinions rather than that actual answer

Well yeah, obviously. But it's like "hey, lets maybe come to some sort of consensus" type situation. Over on Damnation Festival forums we just crowned 'Leviathan' by Mastodon the best record of the past 5 years. Which I can dig. |
