I mean, I always liked the idea but I wanted to be realistic and be prepared for something that could have happened more easily, and I mean a break-up. Especially when Den left the band after the first year. I really thought we were going towards the end of the band, even when Den came back because I felt like anyone of the others could leave too. It's hard to keep five people with five different personalities all together but for us it somehow worked in these three years and we're finally here releasing our Greatest Hits, with all the best songs we have released and looking back at all of them, it feels like we have done so much in a very short time, which is amazing." MARTINA "I cannot believe we are releasing a Greatest Hits, but we are. To think we have come this far and we are still together, despite all that has happened in these three years, it feels incredible. I think this collection is the proof that whatever happens, our friendship never ends indeed, like our debut single says. In fact, it has always been this friendship to keep the 'Teen Titans' alive as a group. Most say that some of us do it for the money, some others for the fame, others for the fun, but even if these things were true, we are all here together because we are like a family. And I am not saying this because that is what everyone would say at this point, I mean it for real. We meet each other almost every single day and we know each other so well that we are like brothers and sisters. There is a bond between us that is never going to break, even the day when we will not be Teen Titans anymore, which I know - or at least I hope - isn't coming any time soon. So I am absolutely proud of this, I am proud of all the things we have done together and why not, even the things we have done individually because they would have never happened if we were not Teen Titans. Releasing this album, this 'Greatest Hits', is a celebration of it all and I am delighted of it. And I know fans are as delighted. Most of them have been supporting us since the first day and I am grateful. I cannot say I know each one of them, that would be one big lie, but I love them even anyway. The idea of celebrating with them makes me confident about the fact that releasing this Greatest Hits will be the most beautiful time I will remember when I will be older." TANYA "I'm happy we are releasing our first collection. Looking back at what we have done to get here it seems unbelievable. We have done so much together and have gone through a lot, and with all the bad and good experiences we have grown up. I am glad Den asked me to be part of the group more than once and of course I am glad I accepted at the end. I have no idea of where I'd be if I didn't. Maybe I'd be drawing mangas but I don't know. I'd have definately missed a lot anyway." DEN "I think it's really, really amazing the fact that we're releasing this Greatest Hits and I hope it won't be the only one we will release! I want us five to stay together and keep making albums for at least other ten years. I love my bandmates and I am so glad I asked them to be the 'Teen Titans' three years ago! Everything is easier thanks to them and they've always been there for me, even when I left in that November of the first year, but thankfully I joined them back and we have come this far! Anyway, I think that listening to this Greatest Hits will take everyone back in time - I know it happened with me. You know, track after track you feel like thinking of all the things that happened around the time that each song was released and at the end you think "Wow, time flew!" and I really think it did!" JOEY "I swear this Greatest Hits is one of the best things in my life. And my Titans are too. We've done a lot together and of course we're gonna do even more but it's all already so much. Of course shit happens, but we're always gonna be there for sure and it's all also thanks to the best fans in the world that we did all of this together. Ya know, their support is always there and I gotta thank them all for that. They surely are gonna love this album cause ya know, all these singles are most of the best songs we got." We may possibly release more than one in the future also.

VERSE #1 When the kick and the piano both join in, four Titans sing a line each, keeping the same tune. Tanya sings with her high tone, Martina uses her usual soft and sweet vocals, Joey sings loudly almost shouting and Den in a lower but funny tone. I can't be with you, can't my waste my time I want nobody, I can stay alright It's time to party, can't be with anybody You threw away my chance and so I said goodbye PRE-CHORUS As soon as Den ends the first verse, the piano and the pad leave the instrumentation and Joey and Den both sing the pre-chorus lines in a fast way, almost rapping. Listen to what I say, why won't ya listen to what I say So listen to what I say, why won't you listen to what I'm gonna say You gotta listen, and listen, and listen 'cause then I'll be gone hey CHORUS The piano, the pad and other instruments join back in to create a new and more cheerful melody for the chorus, which is sung by the four Titans in a catchy way. Our love is over We did all that we could But now it's time to move on Now it's time to go So our love is over I had to choose my friends If you wanna know why It's 'cause friendship never ends VERSE #2 Both the tune and the melody are kept like the first verse for the new one, which starts just after the chorus. So how could you think that it wasn't for real, when it was so clear Our love wasn't strong, well you were wrong Now let me go, I don't need you If you want me back then join again the queue PRE-CHORUS The next pre-chorus is repeated in the same way. The bridge eventually ends with everyone rapping the last two lines together. And I'm sick of playing a game, on you I put the blame On your name there was no fame On your name there was only shame (So what do you want, so what do you want) Now I'm staying with my friends And this is where it all ends I'm gonna go, I don't want you anymore I am gonna go, I want you no more CHORUS When the bridge ends, the chorus is immediately repeated twice again. Den: I remember when we were in the studio recording this and we were so excited for what was going to happen and all that stuff! Martina: Yes, I was thrilled. I could not actually believe I was there. Laurence: The only shame is that I don't get to sing a line. I should had been there when it was being written. Den: Yeah, but it's still a good song. VERSE #1 As the intro ends, the ride and the hat stop playing and a low piano synth plays short notes in the background with the other instruments while Martina and Joey sing the lines of the first verse. I'm lost, in this big city Some love I want, yes it's cheesy But it is my dream, all I need to have Yeah, so it's alright After all I do, all the letters I write Some love I just wanna find PRE-CHORUS When the notes of the piano become longer, Laurence sings the pre-chorus with some deep and slow vocals. Obviously this is gonna be an epic collection of histories and hits, I'm proud of you :)

They put one of my favorite Teen Titans song on this, ' Recognise Me' is my shit! Oh lord, the vocals, the sound, is all dope. Bianca: Girl please, ' Somebody New in the City' Paradise... Aubrei: Lame worms... What about ' Turn On the Radar' OMG OMG OMG, I use to dance my butt off to that.. it was such an joy to me.. eargasim. Danielle: You can't dance, so stop dancing Aubrei... Aubrei: Bite me. Laci: There you go Aubrei. I think all these songs are so iconic, the group is icons. This is so perfect.

VERSE #1 When a slow clap joins the instrumentation, Joey and Martina sing the first verse with some low and slow vocals. I woke up, through the night I was dreaming I was dreaming about you I was afraid, to look at stars I didn't wanna see Your face into the blue PRE-CHORUS The melody of the instrumentation changes and Tanya sings the pre-chorus lines hitting higher notes. And yet I do come back, I'm always there for you I don't know what to do, there's nobody like you But you keep changing the rules, I don't wanna believe in you Don't wanna believe in all of this, again CHORUS As Tanya hits the high note on the last line, the chorus soon begins and everyone sings together, making harmonies for Martina, who leads the choir with her soft vocals during the lines where the others sing too. The melody is the same of the verses, only slightly fuller with a low kick and hats. I love you, but you don't And so you leave in this illusion But I am tired of playing I want you, but you don't And so you leave in this illusion But I am tired of chasing stars VERSE #2 Then at the end of the chorus, the melody gets lighter for the new verse, sung by Den and Laurence still slowly. Does it matter to you, I just wish that I knew If you do not care like I think that you do Just tell me and I won't, I won't come back ever again No, ever again CHORUS Right after the bridge, the last chorus comes and Tanya sings some ad-libs, still hitting high notes. I love you, but you don't (No, you really don't) And so you leave in this illusion But I am tired of playing I want you, but you don't (No, you really don't) And so you leave in this illusion But I am tired of chasing stars ENDING After the last chorus, the whole melody fades to end and while Joey and Den sing some ending lines, hitting some deep and very low notes together and harmonizing their vocals perfectly. Me, Den and Tanya wrote it together the first days, when the group formed. It brings back a lot memories. Tanya: It was great. Martina: (Nods) Absolutely. I do remember writing this song thinking about a guy who I had just broken up with. Writing these lines made me feel better. Den: Yeah, I also wrote this song thinking about a guy! I was really in love with him, but I'm glad that I'm not anymore now to be honest! Laurence: Well then, who were you thinking about when you were writing this song, Tanya? Tanya: Somebody. VERSE #1 When the kick stops playing, the bass plays a more relaxed melody with a piano. So Den sings making a catchy tune with Joey almost shouting on his lines. Don't feel like waking up, just feel like staying in my bed When they all see they think I'm dead I don't feel like doing anything, just wanna sleep all day So let's just take it easy PRE-CHORUS When the verse ends, the notes of the piano become longer and with some low choirs backing them up, Tanya and Martina sing the pre-chorus together, harmonising perfectly as Tanya hits the higher notes and Martina uses her lower but softer vocals. [Martina & Tanya] And when I finally wake up, I wanna party Feeling a little guilty for being a little flirty But that's what we do tonight, yeah, yeah Just we do tonight, tonight CHORUS Right at the end of the last line of the pre-chorus, a brass plays three notes in a catchy sequence leading the song to the catchy chorus sung by everyone together and by all the instruments which use the same beat of the intro but play in a more complex way. SOUNDS LIKE: COMMENTARY: Den: 'Saturday'! Yes! I love this one. It was meant to be a song I had to use for my third solo album but after forming the Teen Titans I decided to make it a Teen Titans' song and made the others record it. It's incredible to think it even eventually became a single! Laurence: Yeah, I remember hearing the demo that Den had recorded for it and thought it was a good song for the group. It had the sound we were going for. Tanya: I remember thinking it was a little too... cheesy. But it was eventually fun to perform and stuff, so it's ok. Den: Yeah, Tanya was actually against it being a single. Tanya: Of course. Joey: Well, I like Saturdays so I thought it was great! It's also a fun song so it's double great.

Martina: Yes, there should have been 'Someone' after 'Who Are You?' but we felt like it was not really the Teen Titans without one of us, without Den, so we decided to not include that one. Den: Yeah and they love me this much! (Smiles) Laurence: Anyway this song is also the one that brought us worldwide success. It's after this single that we decided to release the album in other countries other than UK and go on a world tour. Tanya: Our first world tour. Joey: Yep, we performed this everywhere.
