The Read hards put out the first single for their upcoming album(TBA)! "I Wanna be a dad" and here's a small interview with The Bitch.

NME: Your comeback album was really successful, how are you gonna top that?
The Bitch: We're not planning on topping anything, I'm pretty sure we were bigger than this when we relased "we did this album only for the money", "staying up late" was a huge hit in the uk and we haven't really had any huge hits from the new album except for in Romania, Germany and Belgium. We don't care much about stuff like that.
NME: And still you check it?
The Bitch: Sure, it's fun! but we don't really have a goal to have nr 1 hits though, but it's fun to read where you are on the list.
NME: You tried to make a bluegrass album, are you still doing that?
The Bitch: it was fun to try something different for our comeback record and we are still using those influences, but we're going back to a more punk rock sound on this album, but we also use some keyboards and organs and we have written some ska-songs.
NME: DO you really wanna be a dad?
The Bitch: not really, the song is kind of satirical and it's my view of fatherhood, it doesn't really glamorize it nor does it critisize it, it's just supposed to be funny.
NME: When will the album be out, it's not that long since the last one?'
The Bitch: We're just glad to be back and we try to make new stuff as soon as possible, we're almost done with the album though, but we haven't really found a release date. Poo Peter is the one who has control of the releases in the band.

Erich: there is a certain wrongness about the word "Semen" in a song about fatherhood.....even if semen is integral to the whole process.
