He had promised Nichole that he wouldn't since Nichole couldn't drink, but he thought it would be okay since Nichole found somebody knew to hang out with. "I'm going to start calling you Rye Rye," jokes Alex. Ryan finishes the rest of his drink and puts his jacket on. "Yo, Ed, we're just going to pop outside for a smoke and whatever, if you smoke you can join, if not, we'll be back to cause havoc soon." Ryan and Alex get up and head to the smoking garden, where they both light up a cigarette.

He ruffles his ginger hair and smiles at the audience before walking to the centre of the stage by the microphone. His guitar hangs limply over his shoulder by his sides. He grasps the neck of it and pulls it into position; with his other hand he grabs the microphone and positions it so that it’s the right position for him. “Hello everybody!! Hope you’re all enjoying the GOLDIES!!” With that a large cheer echoes around the room, “Good! Because I’m having a great time too!! Well done to all the winners so far! It’ll be me next year!” he laughs and so do the audience. Sammy starts to gently strum his guitar, and the recognisable tune of Sammy’s second Number 1 single starts to form, “So this is my second single from my album. The album is called, Some Words I Wrote On A Broken Heart, and as of yet I don’t have a release date, but I’d probably take a guess at before Christmas!” He laughs again, “Yeah this song actually got Number 1 on the Airplay Charts today – which is awesome! Thank you all for requesting it! And it’s available to download from next Sunday! So pre-order it on iTunes now!!” He loops the introduction round again and keeps on playing. About 20 seconds into the second loop, he starts to sing. His voice is soft and gentle, and the lyrics slowly caress the acoustic guitar which he is playing now. “ I look back at the times, I look back at our lives, I miss the times when we were together, I thought that they were forever, But it’s over now.” After the first chorus finishes, a slight ripple of cheers comes from the audience and Sammy smiles into the crowd. He continues to play the guitar, and it gets slightly louder now too. At this point, Sammy’s vocals also pick up, and his gentle whisper becomes a more audible noise. “Looking at my life through a photo album, I now see the things I’ve missed, The starry skies and your beautiful eyes, And the lips I long to kiss. At one point we were so happy, But now I’m here alone, Watching and waiting for the phone to ring, And for you to come home…” The second chorus is much like the first, although Sammy’s vocals are still much louder and dominant than before. His guitar speeds up now, and he repeats the chorus too, differing from the recorded version. The music cuts out and he stamps and claps, gesturing for the audience to join in with him. Once he has got everyone doing it he speaks, “Keep this going now until the end of the song guys!” The human beat continues as Sammy starts to sing the next verse with no music behind him. “Pictures tell a story, A story that I’d forgotten, Of the times that you were mine, In a place long passed by.” Once Sammy finishes the verse he brings the guitar back in, and the human beat behind him really helps to create a great atmospheric effect. The final chorus finishes and the audience cheers for him again. “Thank you all so much!! That was Over Now, and my performance is over now too! Download it next week! Enjoy the rest of your night guys!”

Atlas @ Goldie Awards KRRRRRRRRRRRRR. KRRRRRRRRRRRR. KRRRRRRRRRRRR. A loud, relentless heavy metal synthesization sound erings through the Staples Center. In complete darkness it dominates and crowds the arena. Suddenly echoing from the stage comes a smooth, ready voice. "Wait wait wait wait." it says as the KRRRRRRRRR finally stops. The lights come on. The voice is Atlas. Clad in jeans and a whitye T-shirt he runs around the stage grabbing the hands of all the fans he can reach. "Lets play something new." he says. The aggressive dance synth is replaced by a full band playing a smooth funk jam. Atlas sways with it. Horns come up and the intro to Atlas's fame-gaining first demo "I am Atlas" starts. Atlas holds the mic aggressively and begins rapping a dynamic pitter-patter of poetry upon the people. Atlas moves readily connecting with audience and showing great poise for a performer of his age. THe horns blare, the drums thud, the bass booms, and all the while atlas builds and defines the energy of the room with his lyrics and attitude. Guitars ring, but Atlas takes the lead walking and swaying as he puts down a smooth oasis of savory poetry almost laughing in his cheery tone.
