 Who are we? After 16 years experience as a music producer, promoter, part-time musician and all round music buff, Aaron Doherty founded Ocean Records. Having produced for huge artists such as The Lost, The Schadenfreude Ecdysiast, Failed Youth and the late Liam O'Malley, he has already boundless experience in the rock genre. However, always one to push his limits, he has recently expanded into producing for alternative hip-hop artist Mike Bear.What genres do we do?Ocean Records is not genre exclusive. Though primarily we represent rock bands, it is not exclusive and is open to any suggestions.What do we provide?Ocean Records can provide above and beyond your expectations as an artist. Our writing and production team can provide creative direction and insight, our team of artists produce some of the most fantastic artwork our generation has ever seen and our support networks can assist any artist in coping and enjoying the success Ocean Records will bring. Two big announcements:Announcement number 1....NEW ARTIST: BRANDON CAULFIELD  Huge news in that rock-folk artist Brandon Caulfield has joined Ocean Records! Back touring soon and with a brand-new album to be released here on Ocean, we're all incredibly excited to begin working with a talent such as his. His intense, thought-provoking country tinged rock has resonated through generations all across the nation, with everyone finding something to enjoy in his vast array of talents. His thoughtful and somewhat mysterious demeanour has captivated audiences and we can't wait to see what he's going to bring to the label. Not quite an announcement in itself, more of an announcement of preperation for more announcmenets that shall come in the coming future. We should be able to announce them in the next couple of days... Trust me, you want to stay logged on. (Do people even say logged on anymore? When aren't we logged on?) Also....New Banners! Our magic marketing teams have designed some fabulous new banners for all artists under the Ocean Records label, so they so choose to show off who they sold out too! Big announcement:NEW ARTISTS: THE DOLLS  Incredibly exciting news with fantastic new pop group The Dolls joining Ocean Records! Pop’s never tasted sweeter and they girls are set to release their brand new album “Dollhouse” here on Ocean. Their subtle, smart pop should give a packed industry a run for its money and we’re incredibly pumped to start working with them. Expect them to be superstars in no time at all. Their site is as of yet to be officially constructed but check back in a day or two and the link will be here! Furthermore, there will be announcements regarding another 2-3 artists in the coming month. Keep updated with Ocean as we expand as a label! |
