He smiles and nods. "You're quite deep, you know that? I guess I never think about what got those girls into porn when I've watched it. Although there was this one guy at school who used to hate porn...and his catchphrase was "that is someone's daughter!" and then he would point at the screen quite deliberately and look all serious. That kid was weird.
Florian laughs as Destinee does, and then when she stops and glares at him, he keeps laughing a few seconds more, almost as if he is trying to get her to join in with it. When he realises she isn't going to, he just stops and looks down, staring at his lap. He sighs. "I am sorry. I'm sorry. I never know when I've taken a joke too far. Seriously I am sorry." He looks up at her and tries a little smile to try to break the ice again.

Florian smirks. "Well at least you try to have a moral point to it, most people just yell about hating porn. I never asked Adele before if she likes it." He chuckles. "I think it is a man thing really. When we are teenagers, it's all about the bravado and trying to see who can have the balls to search for porn on their home PC. I don't even know why that weird dude was there." He shrugs. He nods and sighs a little, feeling relieved. "Thank you. I am glad you are not mad. And I know what you mean about not wanting to disappoint a friend." He smiles. "You think Adele would want me to meet Helena ever?"

Florian laughs. "I think it is a man thing, you're right. Just like women have their thing - I do not remember going to a sleepover when someone said "Let's have a pillow fight and some experimental lesbianism,"" he winks and chuckles. "Well....some of the guys would go to the bathroom to sort themselves out. No one would ever masturbate right there. That would be far far too weird." He laughs. When Destinee talks about Helena, Florian nods and listens intently. "I wondered, because I know she does not live with Adele. I wouldn't want to think that she does not get to see her daughter though. That would be quite sad."

Florian sees something flicker in Destinee's eyes, like she is remembering something. For a moment, he wonders if it was lesbian experiences but he decides to shake the thought from his head. It was never the right time to ask your girlfriend's best friend a question like that. When she speaks of Helena again, he looks a little surprised. "Oh...she does? For some reason I thought she lived with the father's parents. I have no reason why. Maybe I heard wrong. At least Adele gets to see her then," he says with a smile.

Florian nods enthusiastically, glad he hadn't got it totally wrong. He felt bad for Adele though. "That is a shame. She never let it show that she wanted to see her more. Maybe one day she can live with Adele again though. If that was what would make her happy."

Florian nods as he listens to Destinee talk about Adele's pregnancy. "I cannot imagine what it must have been like to go through that for her. She must have been scared." He looks out of the window when Destinee does. "Did you ever...you know....feel anything bad towards her for the fact that you had to postpone your career for a while?" He takes a drink of wine and tops himself up once again. "At the end of the day...she is the girl's mother and it is never too late for her to be the number one person in her life. Maybe that is what Adele needs - maybe not, I can't speak for her, obviously."

Florian nods. "Not me. If I was to get someone pregnant, everyone would know I am scared. I am not the best at hiding mon emotions." He chuckles and lights a new cigarette. "I'd panic for sure." When she talks about the time when Adele was pregnant, Florian narrows his eyes a little. "Oh...this was a bad...or fun time for you? I can never tell how people feel about blanking life out with substances. I hate the word problem...in relation to alcohol and drugs." He laughs. "I think she would hate me to speak for her, non? But oui, we do spend a lot of time together. Honeymoon phase and all that. Soon she will be telling me to leave her alone for five minutes so she can wear sweatpants and laugh at Mean Girls," he jokes.

"If Adele told me she was pregnant....I would be in a padded cell within an hour. This is how crazy it would send me." He laughs. When she talks about her hard times, Florian nods. He had been in some dark places in hos early 20s, but he would never talk about it. "Consequences? Do you mean hangovers or getting arrested? Bonus if you mean both!" He laughs, and then when she asks about him, he sighs and furrows his brow. "Me? Well...what do you want to know? I come from Marseille, I am 24, I hate most of my family and all of my band." He laughs at that last fact. "I am pretty complex actually. I was not a happy teenager, it makes a person awkward."

"A million Destinee and Adele fans after my balls on a plate for delaying the career of you girls again....I am now definitely sure I need to be careful, I don not want angry pop fans wanting me dead." He laughs and nods as she talks about being arrested. "When I was about...15, and in my political phase, I was arrested a lot. Those Parisian jails are nothing like lesbian porn makes them seem." He laughs hard and starts rambling a little about himself, not really paying attention to where Destinee is looking until she gives him a heads up. "Adele? Oh....merde. Pretend we were talking about....cheese and wine?" He laughs. "Just don't say we were talking about her past." He smiles and tries not to look suspicious - failing badly.

Florian laughs at the point Destinee makes at first and then goes silent when she mentions the attacker. "Yes...this is a good point. I can only imagine what this lunatic would have done to me if I had gotten Adele pregnant." He shivers and shakes his head at the very thought of the guy coming back again. "Maybe I should make friends with your female fans...they can have my back against the crazy men." He chuckles a little more easily, wondering if his own band has any crazy fans an praying they never go after Adele. "Rape? You saw rape in jail? That must have been awful to witness. Thankfully I never saw any of that....I don't know what I'd do if I saw it." He tries to shake the thought from his mind.

When Adele arrives, Florian sits still and smiles at her with a little nod. "Adele...we have something to tell you," he says, standing slowly. Almost straight away though, he starts to laugh. "I'm sorry I'm sorry. A prank cherie!" He kisses her on the cheek . "You are looking amazing."
