Scott shakes his head. "Could you maybe like try listening to me here. It's not about the sex. That was just an example. It's about the intimacy and the whole being with my wife. You turn your fucking back on me every night in bed like you just wish I wasn't there." He shakes his head. There was no way she was going to understand what he meant, clearly. He looks at the floor as she mentions Sophie, thinking that it was just an excuse and a reason for her not to undress anywhere near him. "No.....forget it." He holds his hand up. It wasn't about seeing her naked, it was about the fact she seemed like she didn't want him to see her naked, but she didn't seem to understand the symbolism behind that - it was almost like she was embarrassed about him seeing her body as if he was some kind of stranger. He works on the mobile again silently, somehow wishing that he had just gone for a drive and not wasted his time offering help. When she wraps her arms around him, he tenses up a little. They hadn't touched each other at all in a long time and it made him feel uneasy. He nods when he sits. "Ok Gi....I believe you. I'm sorry for making assumptions then I guess. I just felt like...I don't know. I guess I was scared of losing you or something. Yeah, I just sound dumb." He stands again and finishes putting the mobile together before he hangs it from the edge of the crib.

Scott looks up at her again. What he had said was quite harsh, about the intimacy and all, but it was exactly how he felt and he thought she should know it. "I'm sorry for saying any of that if it upset you. It's the truth though, and clearly nothing is going to get better if we're just treating each other silently all the time. Sometimes I feel like we don't even know each other at the moment." It was true, even in bed Scott had started wearing a shirt because he felt uncomfortable with Gia seeing his body given that they felt so much like strangers in the past couple of months. He sighs and looks up at her as she clearly goes over it in her head. He can see she thinks it was harsh, and that perhaps he was overthinking things in her eyes, but to him he wasn't. How were they supposed to feel like a family if they weren't even talking to each other at any time. After she lets him go, he feels empty again, not realising that she let go of him because of the way he had tensed up. He sits down and looks at her when she starts talking bad about herself. He sighs. "You aren't a terrible wife. You're just shutting me out and making me feel like you don't want me to be a part of anything with you. I feel like you want to do everything on your own and I.....I just...I don't know." He shrugs and stands up, walking across to open the window and look outside as he sits on the sill enjoying some fresh air.

Scott looks over at her. "I just want us to be normal Gia. I just want us to be how we used to be. I don't want to wake up in the morning and think that I have to get downstairs before you wake up so it's not awkward. I want to wake up and cuddle you and just be with you. You're my wife and I love you." He looks at her again as he sees her starting to cry a little. He didn't want her to be sad, but he knew that now was the time for them to sort this. It would only get worse if they didn't take that chance. He felt bad for blaming her, because it was every bit his fault as much as it was hers. As he watches her and hears her almost start to beg, a tear falls from Scott's face. "Gia....it's my fault too. I'm sorry. Let's....let's just both promise to be more open and honest with each other. I....just want you babe. I love you with all my heart, I promise." He holds his arms open to her tentatively, hoping she'll want to hug him.

Scott pulls Gia against him gently when she walks to him and he kisses her on top of her head, keeping his head resting against hers as he gently rubs her back. He was glad they had made this step this morning. He was worried that they would never get back to normal, but this was a step. "I know you haven't lied Gia. I just mean if you feel like...I don't know like we're being distant or something, I want you to be able to come and tell me. We used to talk about things like that. Let's go back to that again." He nods. "I know, I know Gia, I'm sorry. I just overthink everything, I'm sorry. I really am. It's been a stressful time. I guess I should have been able to handle it better." He hugs her a little tighter, careful not to hurt her bump as he does so. "You're a lot bigger now than last time I hugged you," he says, trying to make light of the situation. "Your boobs don't even touch my chest now."

Scott smiles a little at her and brushes her hair back with his fingers. "Haha, I think it will take a bit more than a few cars to bankrupt us babe. Besides, Sophie likes my new cars." He smiles as he jokes with her. "Yeah I can barely even get my arms around you any more. Is it like...uncomfortable or anything?" He puts his hand on her belly. "He's gonna be a healthy boy, huh? I'm glad to hear it, Gi. I'm sure he can't wait to meet you." He smiles and nods back at her. "Yeah. We just need some nights on that couch with a film. Like we used to have all the time, huh?" He kisses her gently. "I missed you."

"What....? We just go out in the hills, cruising with the roof down. She loves it." He smirks. "I'm joking, she just likes sitting in it in the driveway and playing with the radio. She said it was a cool car. I'm not sure what it says about the car that a two year old thinks it's cool." He laughs at how stern Gia was being. It made a change to the independent and carefree Gia he had first dated two years ago. She would never have even dreamed of being a mother. He was proud of the way they had both changed since then. "Yeah. I guess it must be weird to have all that extra weight on there. You better hope he's not 30 pounds though....or you'll have a vagina like your friend Cassie by the time he gets out." He laughs and then opens his eyes wide when he feels the kick. "Wow....does he kick a lot? That's the first time I've felt it." Scott smiles and kisses the top of her head. "I can't wait to meet him. You're the best with the kids Gi. I love them all so much. It makes me smile every day to have the chance to raise a family you know?" He smiles and playfully pushes her. "What....? Am I hearing right? Surely Gia Rose-Hilton hasn't stopped working? It's a damn miracle!" he jokes. "You should be relaxing. Like I told you when Bailey was living in there. You never listened though. Lots of massages and snacks for you from now on babe."

Scott laughs and shakes his head. "You never know, she might go on to be a car expert or like a mechanic or something," he says, sticking his tongue out. "Well Cassie's had more penis than everyone else in the world added together...it must be like a car wreck down there. She still has that house along the road, but I think she went to her parents for a while." He smiles. he knew Gia wanted more friends around, and he smiled almost sympathetically at her as he notices her looking a little sad about Cassie. "Cheer up though. She'll be back sometime. Do god parents not have to see the kids by law at least a few times to make sure they're still alive and stuff?" Scott smiles when she mentions him being an athlete. "Well with a Canadian mother, I hope he likes hockey. Sophie stopped watching it with me now she's all 'grown up'." He laughs. "I'm actually surprised you're even taking maternity leave at all. You're like the most work-obsessed person I have ever come across in my life, and that includes Stinson. That's saying something. Snacks....well do you have a craving this time? Hopefully not those bloody bus again." He laughs and sits down. "How are you feeling anyway?"

"I don't care what she turns out to be. As long as she's single and has a lot of cats I'll be happy. No guy can hurt her that way. Although, I'm sure you'll be wanting grandkids and stuff some day, huh?" He smirks and shrugs when she mentions Cassie. "No she was, she was nice and I got on great with her later on...but she still loved a bit of cock in her. You can't deny that, Gi. I'm sure she'll come back some time. You should try calling her." He chuckles at the notion of Bailey wanting to watch hockey with him. "I get the feeling Bailey's a bit like a cat. Like she loves me....but only because she needs me to survive," he jokes. "Maybe Logan will. I hope so." He smiles and kisses her head. "Good. I need you all relaxed and plumping up so we have a healthy baby. Not stressing and getting sick because of work." He holds her close to him. "I think I preferred the cinnamon buns, Gi." He touches her stomach. "He loves his mommy so he's making it easy for you," he says with a smile.

Scott chuckles a little. He had genuinely not meant anything bad by what he had said about Cassie. It was just the way he perceived her. He could see he had annoyed Gia though. "I'm sorry babe. You're right, and I know she was a great friend for you to have around. I hope she comes back some time for you. Maybe I'll call her." He smiles and looks a little confused. "Do you think I don't spend enough time with Bailey?" he asks, concerned that he hadn't dedicated enough tie to his younger daughter. "Yeah you're plumping up nicely. That's a good thing, Gi. If you were as thin as you normally are, I would be worried given that you're almost seven month pregnant." He kisses her and smiles as he checks the mobile is working. "Perfect. I feel like a real man when I build stuff." He laugh at her joke about work. "To be fair, I've seen you work remember. I wouldn't be surprised if half the people there DO poop their pants around you." He chuckles and walks to the wardrobe. "Your parents are too young for what, babe?"

Scott chuckles a little. "Okay, okay. I think once you're not pregnant though, if you wore more bikini tops Cassie would come back. I swear she always had a thing for you. I know she was bi...and she was totally hot for you I swear. Even that time I slept with her all that time ago before you and I met, I'm sure she called out your name." He smiles and laughs. "Really? I guess I should spend more time with Bailey then...I never realised I was leaving her out. I feel kinda bad now. Besides, Soph will be a teenager soon, and I guess a dad has to get used to his teenage daughter hating him..." he chuckles and then flexes his muscles. "Yeah...you love watching your man at work, huh?" he teases, striking a pose for her and sticking his tongue out. "Really? Did having Soph and Bailey make you calm down or mellow? I remember one of your favourite activities used to be deciding which inactive artists to mercilessly fire on the spot..." he winks and kisses her.
