I downloaded their album, and I was suprised that I actually quite enjoyed it! As far as writing catchy stuff goes, they hit the nail right on the head.

same here... a friend recomended it to me, and i was blown away with how much i enjoyed it.. Oracular Spectacular is a fantastic album..

Seconded, WAY too overplayed and it just get's annoying after a while. Before they got annoying, they were okay, but then they were like number 1 for ages so the radio kept on playing them over and over and over and over and it just got annoying.

Whats with people hating over-played music (mainstream) there's a reason why is played so much. Hate the radio station not the band my fucking goodness.

I'll go with the hating of the radio stations..some obviously have monkey's in charge of programming where they hit the same selection six times. Or that they dont realise that there is actually other artists out there.

As far as pop music goes, this isn't that bad. I mean, I would never buy it or actively listen to it, and the fact I hear them all the time on TV and stuff doesn't endear me, but like I say, not the worst thing I've ever heard.

The reason I dont like over-played music is because I dont like listening to the same song over and over again. Why is that such an attrocity?
