Laser disc...picture a DVD ...but the diameter of a 12" vinyl record. The format never took off. I think it was tried from the mid 80s to early 90s.
My dad had a van with an 8 track.....
Congrats,miss Japan! Again,because you deserve it. School must be even worse than it was when I was there.

You should see a laserdisc player. It looks like it doubles as a control station for an nuclear submarine.
Similar in theory to a cassette. An 8 track is about the size a normal paper back novel. The 8 track stuck out of the player about 3 inches and were prone to the tape inside getting eaten. Unlike a normal cassette,the pencil trick didnt work.
What's next on the archaic technology discussion? Betamax? Discman? Minidisc? Colecovision? Neogeo? Carburetors? Transistor radios? Cassette players that didnt have rewind,only fast forward? Am only radios? Nike shoes without air? Fuck I'm old. |

Lol, I love the pencil trick :P It's funny, I used to record all my music on cassettes like when I was in middle school at night and I had the radio on but I was falling asleep and now I listen to it now (has been completely untouched) it sounds like an Alvin and the Chipmunks album. |
