I like dark comedy and sarcasm.
Or telling those incredibly stupid jokes, I don't laugh when I read them, just when I tell someone else.
I own:

Andrew Guinnard (Post-punk/acoustic)
Lucy Tankeray (Pop diva/weird)

I define a joke as anything amusing.
I hate jokes that are negative towards me or my friends/family.

Jesus Rince, what happened to you? You used to be the pinacle of intelligence for me, and now your posting threads like this? With incorrect capital letters? Tis a sad day ;)

But seriously, a jokes something intended by the joker to make people laugh or for them to find it amusing or humourous. I hate idiot comedy, like walking into walls. But I like people who aren't too funny, but are quite calm and can make me chuckle. There are few people who can make me roflmao Dancing

i posted this to try and get people to stop talking about it in the what happens to you when you die thread... and who knows it may work... Also sorry for letting my dyslexia shining through.... spell checking is a bitch, Hope ive not let you down ;)

My point here is personally i hate Kathy Griffin and can not see how anyone finds her funny at all.

Humour for me is biting wit and sarcasm. Think Blackadder.. But i also like sureal stuff Like Ross Noble, Eddie Izard etc etc. I have honestly yet to find an American comic that actually makes me wet myself with laughter.. Which is sad. Chris Rock comes close but i find him a bit to racist.

i am also seeing the great MM.... He is just happy and nice... :D

Live comedy is the best.. Nothing else comes close

EDIT - i forgot Bill Hicks... But lets face it his humour is Very British and we got him long before the yanks did :P

Fair enough, sorry I didnt realise you were dyslexic.

Anyway, what do you mean Chris Rock is racist? I take it you mean towards white people, and if you mean that im really not that bothered. Nor am Ibothered when people stereotype english people or whatever in the name of humour. However if it's serious, I dont take offense I just think their idiots. Just as I would if someone was racist to a black/hispanic/asian whatever you want.

To be fair, I do feel slightly uncomfortable with Chris Rock. I'm not sure he isn't just a black Bernard Manning, but funnier.

I've always found that, white Chris Rock fans are like apologists or something. I genuinely don't find Chris Rock all that funny.

The kind of humour I favour is extremely dry. I like wit and wordplay.

And then there's Neil Hamburger:

Chris Rock makes me cringe. Another thing that makes me cringe is female comedians. In particular I hate Sarah Silverman, the show she has is way beyond been bad...I have yet to come across one female comedian I find even remotely funny.

If there is anything that makes me laugh its usually the Monty Python style humour...Hale and Pace make me giggle and Strausman has me in stitches.

All her jokes are "I'm fat and ugly" and "my husband and all men are rubbish".

i like Jo Brand, but only in small doses... Early Victoria Wood is quite good though.

And as for Chris Rock. i can't sum it up any better than he's a black bernard manning... Nice phrase.
