Anyone else into these girls? They were the "creators" of the Riot Grrrl movement, so I love their lyrics, specially the one for I Like Fucking ("Just 'cause my world, sweet sister/Is so fucking goddamn full of rape/It doesn't mean my body/ Must always be a source of pain.")
Kathleen Hannah's my favorite female singer, I'd go gay for her. If you don't know them, my favorites:




I also love that in their concerts they used to ask the guys to back off so that the girls could be in the front :P

Naa, but seriously, I love them :) But then, I love the genre. I've never come across one Riot Grrrl band that I dislike.

i normally hate Riot Grrrl bands.... this isn't an exception.

To be honest I'm more into the whole feminism idea put into music than what they play. Bikini Kill is the exception, I enjoy their music without having to do an effort because of the lyrics.
Brazilian Riot Grrrl bands are fair worse than americans, beggining with the names, there's one called Anarchic Period for god's sake! :P
