You put yourself out there, the only way you can fail is if you don't try" he takes another sip of his drink, "Who is your boyfriend, what does he do?" he asks, and then looks over towards the bar to see the waitress walking towards their table, he laughs a little. |

Maddie will just not be able to control her, she's a total whirlwind" he shakes his head and smiles, "It's just her nickname, she works at a bar and they started calling her 'Miami' and I think it just stuck. Alex sits for a couple of moments before finishing his drink, he then heads over towards the bar, he takes a seat on a bar stool and receives a text message, he reads it but doesn't reply, placing the phone back into his pocket and then getting the attention of the waitress. The waitress makes her way over to him and he orders a drink.

Alex Simms is once again sat at the bar, he's wearing a t-shirt sporting the logo of the 80's alt rock band The Replacements, torn jeans and boots, his hair messy as always. He orders a drink and sits quietly listening to the music playing through the soundsystem, occasionally glancing around the room.

Alex hears some sort of excitement and looks across the room, he see's the excitable young girl running towards him and watches her as she runs over towards him. He laughs a little at her reaction, "Hey, what's up?" he says, smiling at Lacy and her friend Katie. |
