Hannah seems to stagger back, although she's sitting down. "I'm sorry, what did you just say about Patti Smith? She sounds like who? Iggy Pop? Josh, I don't think we can be friends anymore. Not at all. You have no idea how much I worship this woman. She's only slightly more idolized by me than Amanda Palmer is." She shakes her head, disgusted. "Patti Smith is god. I hate you. Go away. I hate you." She laughs, showing that she's kidding, but she was totally serious. She loved Patti Smith. "I love husky voiced ladies. And you got me. Tank Girl is my woman."

"Yes. Yes, you do. And all your feminism points. If you don't like Patti Smith, you're not allowed to say that you love women," Hannah says back, crossing her arms and grinning at him. She laughs a little bit. "My voice is more or less a raspy Fran Drescher, if I want to be honest. Smoking before your vocal chords are fully developed will do that to you." She laughs again.

"Hey, I get writing the female characters, though. They're so much more fun to write as. Girls can get away with things that men cannot. That's what's beautiful." She smiles and crosses her legs. "Um... I smoked my first when I was thirteen. I was visiting my grandmother in Louisiana and she taught me how to smoke." She giggles.

"I know, right? You men punch each other in the face, and then you go get a beer together. Women fight, play mind games, act like their still friends, mentally terrorize them, ruin any other friendships that friend might have, and then leave them to deal with their crumbling existence." Hannah laughs. "God, women are bitches. This is why I'm friends with, like, two of them. All my other friends are guys." She breaks off another piece of the brownie and eats it. "I guess it would be weird if you didn't know my grandmother like I did. She was a tough old broad. Coolest bitch I've ever met in my life."
