erica keeps hugging ada tightly and keeping her eyes clenched shut,as if that would help in some way. she finally opens them to look at ada. "ada....i hate to suggest such a thing,but maybe you need a break from him...if he upsets you so." erica places a hand on ada's stomach meaningfully. erica's pledge of friendship to ada wasnt just talk. she would take sides against erich in a hearbeat,if he was wrong. "i think you do too,ada.i cant help you as much as you need. " erica's eyes water at this realization. "i love you ada,i want what is best for you." she turns her head to wipe her eyes.

Erica sighs. " sometimes you have to do for you.ya know? Ada... You have to let him know you can't be taken for granted." She says carefully. She knows Erich on his own is a recipe for disaster. But she wasnt concerned with him. Ada needed this break. Erica shakes her head. "Ada,that is too long.. You need help now. It could get far more serious in that time frame." Erica reaches it and holds Ada's feet. " today,Ada." She repeats softly

Erica narrows her eyes. She can see Ada's point. She does have a huge following,people would be heartbroken. But at the same time,the stress of work,being able to read the stupid shit erich posts on twitter....no. It wouldn't work. " your health is more important. The baby's health is more important. I am sorry,but I cannot agree. You will just have to make up these tour dates. I will bring the harlots along too." Erica says firmly.

Erica was glad Ada was listening. If she didnt go tonight? Erica was going to make her stay with naty and her. Their bed was small,so things would have gotten awkward quick. Erica holds Ada's hands and kisses Ada's cheeks. " after I get you sorted,they are second on my list of people to speak to." Erica says with a scowl on her face. " I will also fill your time on stage...:would you mind if I covered your songs?" Erica asks softly.

Erica smiles happily. She was so worried Ada was going to tell her absolutely not. Which is understandable,as those songs are clearly dear and personal to Ada. She nods to Ada. " of course,Ada. That song will be replaced by...I dunno,I'll think of something. We will tape every set,so you can point out how I slaughtered your songs." She says the last part with a giggle. She takes Ada's hands and looks up to her. " you ready? I already called a cab for us. I want to go with you."

Erica gives Ada a look that says " are you fucking serious?!" Before slowly nodding " o.....k, Ada..please don't tell me any details if you plan on killing him. I do not want to be an accomplice." She says,more seriously than she should.

" that's the alibi? Ok,I'll commit it to memory." Erica giggles.erica wraps her arms around Ada..feeling very short. " you are welcome,my friend. Any time you need me. I will be there...pants or no." She laughs looking at her bare legs. " good luck,Ada. I will tell page. She seems sensible. And I promise not to make disco funk versions of your songs." She gives her one final hug and smiles at her. Worried,but happy for her.

Ada gets out of the taxi and immediately goes to Erica's tour bus, ignoring her own. Erica would never let her spend a moment alone in her own bus, so she didn't even try to scheme a couple minutes to herself. She knocks on Erica's bus door, sighing when she sees the bandages on her arms.

Ada gives Erica a small smile as she is pulled inside. She wished that she could be as happy and enthusiastic as Erica, but the sedatives the hospital had her on was still in effect, and - honestly - she was still very depressed over what had happened between her and Erich. She sits down on Erica's bed, needing to rest for a moment before she did anything else.

Ada yawns a little and shakes her head. "I apologize," she says, putting her hand over her mouth as she puts her back against the wall and leans again it. "What is it that you want to talk about, liebling?"
