Andrea smiles a little after Billy says that

"Can we go lay down?"

Andrea moves away a little before kissing Billy she then heads over to the bed and lays down she looks up at the ceiling and waits fir Billy to come to

It had been a strange month for Andrea Khan. She had spent the last month realising what people had been telling her all along - that Billy was no good for her. Over the course of their marriage, he had been verbally and physically abusive to her, even though he had shown he loved her often, and it had left her confused, as it would to anyone. In the end, she had run for the sake of Daniel. Billy had been getting more and more violent to her over the final few weeks they spent together, and she feared what would happen if his temper ever got the better of him when their son was around, so she had fled here, to Huddersfield, a quiet town far from home where she could be as safe as possible without leaving the UK. She had rented a flat under the name of Debra Mason, using her aunt's name to get somewhere for her and Daniel to live without the fear of Billy tracking her activity. She had spent the month since relaxing, looking after Daniel and generally trying to sort out her mind.

Andrea still missed Billy, no matter what anyone told her. She was still his wife, and he meant a lot to her. She knew that side of him, the loving and caring side, was still in there somewhere, and she often dreamed of being back with him. But she fought it. She couldn't go back. She had to stay away for Daniel's sake. Tonight, she was feeling a little stressed. Daniel had been sick all day and was restless. Andrea was walking around the house with him, gently rocking him as she tried to get him to sleep so she could relax. It had been a few days since she had even seen any of her friends, and she was feeling tired and alone. She didn't like to meet people too often. The more she went out, the more chance there was she would get seen and Billy would find her. Andrea Khan was too risky outside. Staying inside as Debra Mason was much safer. Daniel eventually doses off and Andrea smiles, walking to the room of the small apartment to put him in his crib. This one bedroom apartment was far from ideal for them both, but it was all she had, and she tried to make the most of it. When she settles him in, Andrea walks back to the kitchen and flicks the switch on the kettle, waiting for it to boil so she can make an evening cocoa for herself.

Andrea is humming and occasionally singing some lyrics as she waits for the kettle to boil, preparing her mug with cocoa. Unbeknownst to anyone, she had been working on some new music in the last few weeks with a song writer, and she was pleased with the results. She thought she could make enough money to get herself an Daniel away from this place to somewhere bigger and safer. Who knows...maybe some day she could even arrange for Billy to have some access to Daniel in some way. She smiles a little at the thought of her husband. It was nights like this that she always thought abut calling him, and she struggled not to succumb to her desires.

She starts to pour the water into her cup when the kettle boils, stirring the contents as she sings again. She puts the spoon into the sink and starts to walk through to the living room when she hears something at the back door. When the glass pane smashes, she freezes on the spot, thinking that someone was about to break in to steal from them. She had no idea what to do, and she suddenly wishes Billy was here to protect herself and Daniel as fear washed over her. She had no idea that her wish was about to come true and that he was actually here all along. When she hears his voice, she is so shocked that she drops the cup and it smashes to the floor, breaking the silence and her fears that he would think she wasn't home as well as spilling boiling cocoa across her bare foot, scalding it badly.

How had he found her? it hadn't seemed possible. Andrea clamps her hand over her mouth, trying to keep quiet and stop from yelping out at the pain of her burnt foot. She makes her way quickly through the living room and closes the bedroom door. Billy sounded mad and there was no way she wanted him to get to Daniel when he was like that. She cowers in the corner of the room as she listens to him rattling the door, praying that he will think she's not home and just leave.

Andrea cowers behind the bedroom door as she listens to the door being shouldered over and over. She sits on the floor hugging her own knees close to her chest. She wonders if someone had told Billy where she is, cursing herself for being more outgoing in the last two weeks. She looks over at the crib, seeing Daniel still asleep, innocent and with no clue about what was going on right now. Tears start to run down her cheeks. She had never meant this. She never meant to make Billy angry...she just wanted him to see how his behaviour hurt her, to open his eyes to the pain he caused her and the danger he could leave Daniel in. The angry tweets she had been sending him were, in many ways, her way of making herself feel better, of justifying the fact she left him. When the door comes off its hinges and crashes to the floor, Andrea holds her breath.

As she listens to him yell through the house and start throwing stuff onto the floor, she starts to visibly shake, her tears now turning to sobs. The house really was too small for her to hide in. She knew he would find her in here, but she was terrified of what he'd do to her when he got in. She cries, almost feeling sorry for him. She had taken his son after all. part of her wanted to get up, to go out there and talk to him and explain why she had left. For a moment, she considers it, she felt sorry for him. Maybe she could make it all right again, she thinks, until his voice roars through the house and sends fear coursing through her. She waits in silence, even scared to breathe. When she senses no movement for a moment, she reaches up and slides the bolt in the bedroom across to lock the door. It would never keep him out, but she felt helpless now.

When he screams through the door, she yelps out loud, totally stricken by fear now, and barely able to move. That is until Daniel starts crying, at which point her motherly side kicks in and she leaps to her feet scooping him up in her arms and kissing his forehead gently. She shakes visibly as she stares at the door with tears still flowing down her face. "DAMN IT BILLY YOU'RE SCARING HIM!" She yells, her voice wavering and sounding terrified. "Please stop it! We miss you but stop...please! You're scaring Daniel!" She tries to reason with him through the last locked door keeping from getting her. She was terrified what he would do to punish her for taking Daniel away.

Andrea tries to calm Daniel through all of Billy's shouting, covering his ears with her hands so that he doesn't have to hear his father shouting at his mother yet again. Through all of this, she never wanted Daniel to think Billy was a bad person. She still hoped that after everything had calmed down, she would be able to show Billy what he was losing out on by being violent, and that they could all be back together again if he was able to get better. She wanted Daniel to know his dad, and she wanted Billy to have a chance to be the husband and father that only Andrea seemed to know he had the capacity to be. She had seen how loving and family orientated he could be, and she never gave up hope that she would see it again.

When Billy goes quiet, Andrea holds her breath for a moment, wondering if he had gone. Then she heard him breathe against the door and her heart sank. She knew he was still angry, she could hear it in his quick breaths, and she just wanted to make sure that Daniel would be safe. When he asks her to come outside, she sniffles a little and nods to herself. All she wanted now was to make sure Daniel was safe. Experience told her she was in trouble, and that meant pain, even though Billy never meant to hurt her. But even if that was going to happen, she was ready to sacrifice herself to keep Daniel safe.

"Ok...I...I will," she stutters. "Just please be quiet. He's falling asleep."

As Daniel quietens down and stares up at her, Andrea starts to sob. She kisses him on the head. "Mommy loves you," she tells him before putting him back in the crib. She sighs and forces herself to stop crying. She didn't want to seem weak, but she could still hear the anger in his voice and she was a little scared. She stands up and takes a deep breath, straightening herself up as if she wanted to look good for him. Deep down she still wanted to impress. He was still the man she fell in love with. She grips the door handle as if it's the gateway to hell itself, terrified to turn it and what awaits her. She closes her eyes and waits for a few second, fighting every instinct in her that wanted to cry before she turns the handle.

Walking out, Andrea sees him for the first time, and her confusion just heightens. He looks battered and bruised, and she immediately feels a sympathy that outranks her fear. She looks at the cuts on his arms and walks towards him, not even remembering all of the pain he had caused her. She missed him so much, no matter what had happened, and now here he was again.

"Are you ok...." she asks, moving towards him and still staring at his arm.

When she sees Billy there, Andrea feels everything she had ever felt for him immediately come rushing back. All of the fear she had was gone in that instant. She hadn't seen him for so long, and she had had to convince herself that she didn't miss him in order to stop herself from just going running back to him again. Being apart, even if it was only temporary, as she had always planned from the start, was the only way she could make him see how important she and Daniel were to him, and the only way that they could go back to being the same as they were when they first met all that time ago. She looks over at him, hoping in her heart that Billy had managed to change and get better, as she always knew that he could. No one else had believed in him - none of her friends or her family, but she always knew that there was something there, something to hold onto.

When he first sees her, she waits for his reaction. She had been terrified in the room that he would hit her or attack her again, but now she just wanted him to come over and kiss her to show that everything was alright. So when he turns his back and gives her a short sharp answer, her heart sinks a little and she just nods as she looks at the floor. He seemed to hate her, and that was the last thing she had wanted. After everything she had gone through with Katie, she had vowed never to love again, but Billy had shown her that someone could love her. He had his flaws, but then everyone did, and the way he loved her more than made up for this. She looks at the floor and tries not to cry. Did he really not love her anymore? She sniffles a little. "I didn't give up. I just wanted you to know what you could lose, Billy. I just wanted you to appreciate us. I'm sorry...I'm sorry for everything. I just wanted you to see..." she goes quiet and stares at him. "Let me fix your arm..." she says softly. "You hurt it. Let me help."

As he walks towards her, Andrea nods and stares at him. Was this it? Was Billy ok after all? She feels some tears in her eyes. "We missed you too, Daniel and I. We both missed you so much." She looks down at his hand and puts her own on top of it.

To tell Billy the truth at last felt somehow liberating to Andrea. She had been running for so long, scared he'd find her, but now she was getting to tell him why. "I just want us to work together Billy. We both have issues. I just wanted us both to be able to work on that. We are a couple we need to be able to sort these things out and not fight. For Daniel. For Daniel."

As Andrea looks at him, she sees the fear and remorse in his eyes, and she knew that she was right after all. She knew as well as anyone that Billy had been through a lot in his life, and even though he didn't like to talk about it all that often, it was obvious that things had affected him. She was never a believer that someone's situation would influence who they were in life. Not until she met Billy. At that point, she realised that upbringing and surroundings could make a big difference to the way someone acted. It was that reason that made her stick by him in ways that no one else would. Everyone else had given up on Billy all through his life, but Andrea was not going to. Sure, she had run away with Daniel, but she only did it to make him see what he could lose, to make him see that he needed help, and now she felt like that had worked at last. She could see in his eyes that the thing she told him were starting to have an effect on his thoughts. He was clearly listening to her for the first time since they got married. Maybe running away was the right option after all.

She nods when he speaks, feeling sad at the look in his eyes, and Andrea reaches up to touch his face. It had been so long since they had touched. "I know Billy. It's not your fault. I know that," she says. If any of her friends could see her now, they'd be disappointed in the way she acted and spoke to him, but Andrea knew they were all wrong about him. "We're here for you Billy. We just want to be happy. All of us. Please...be happy with Daniel and I. Don't be angry and sad..." she smiles a little at him and then moves closer, gently moving her bright red lips closer to press them against his. "I love you, Billy. I really do."

Andrea nods and starts to cry a little. She wanted everything Billy wanted a little as well, and she was so happy to hear him talking like this. It felt like a turning point to her that Billy could see how the relationships his band mates had were more healthy than what he and Andrea did. She smiles a little. "I know Billy. I know you can't help it. But I can work with you. You just gotta let me help when you need it," she says softly, holding his hand. Something was different this time. Andrea could tell. This time Billy wanted to change, and that meant the world to her.

Andrea feels sympathetic towards him when she sees Billy almost crying. She listens to him speak, every word, and she nods along in tie. She could see why he felt like he did, and suddenly she felt terrible for ever having left. She thought she was doing them both a favour, and that it would be good for everyone in the long run, but when he questioned her, it just seemed like flawed logic on her part. She shakes her head. "I always wanted to come back Billy. I just needed a sign from you that you wanted to change and that you missed us. When you were being angry I didn't want to come back and for us to just be the same as we were before. I wanted you to prove that things would be better. For Daniel. And for us. I always want to be your wife. That's why I married you in the first place." When he talks of her getting over him, Andrea cries softly. That was never what she wanted. She may have been acting like a bitch to him on Twitter, but that was only because she missed him. "No....I would never get over you," she whispers. "I always would have come back. I just needed a sign." She tries to smile at him to show him that things can be ok between them. "You're here now though, Billy. That's all that matters. We can work at things together." She was shocked to hear him talk like this. He had always sounded poisonous and dangerous when they spoke about feelings but not now. This was the breakthrough Andrea needed.This was the sign she wanted to see to make her feel like things could work, and she smiles at him as they stand just a few feet apart.

As Billy moves towards her, Andrea has a little moment where she isn't sure what he's going to do, and then he kisses her and her heart melts. She sighs into the kiss, pressing her lips against his and bringing her arms up around his neck. Other people doubted them, but there was rarely ever any doubt in her mind, and now there was none at all. She was Billy's and nothing would ever change that in Andrea's mind.
