Honor stared at him, unable to understand why he seemed so hostile. "Okay...what's wrong? You seem pissed at me for some reason." She set Jynx down on the ground. She didn't realize how much stuff he had gotten for the cat. "I didn't think you'd...." She sighs. "I can pay you back for all of this, it's no problem." Honor was trying to feel the situation out. Was he mad about the cat or was he mad about the break? Maybe he was trying to really get over her.

"No, talk to me Alec. What's going on?" Honor follows him as he goes to find a bag for her to carry the stuff in. She could tell something was bothering and she wouldn't let it go until he told her. In the back of her mind, she wondered if he had somehow found out about her and Kai. If that was the case, she wouldn't lie to him but she wasn't going to just come out and say it.

It was the break that was making him like this. "Alec, if you didn't want to take this break...why didn't you say that instead of going along with it? I just feel like..it's the best thing to do right now." She sighs. It was difficult for her to explain. She still wanted to be with Alec but she just wasn't sure if she was ready to totally comitt herself to him. "It's not you I'm just- I don't want to screw this up." Honor felt like she needed to be sure she was ready for an actual serious relationship and so far she felt like she was terrible at it. She was just used to hook ups and being alone. But Alec deserved more than that, he was an amazing guy to her and she was being unfair. "I'm not exactly having a blast either. I miss you, a lot."

Honor shook her head. "I've missed you since you left my house. I haven't stopped thinking about you at all. This is hard for the both of us, not just you." She puts her hands on her hip and then looks down. She really did miss him and Kai was just sort of a way to not drown herself in alcohol or not think about him all the time. Then again, she was almost positive Alec wasn't seeing anyone or even hooking up. He was just that good to her. "Fuck, I'm so horrible." She said softly to herself and then looked back up at him. "It's kind of hard to be friends with someone you've been screwing for months. Hell, we couldn't even stop doing that last time we saw each other.." She remembered their last time together. Even though they had been drinking, they were aware of what was going on. "Oh and by the way, I'm hoping your recent retweets weren't about me...I'm nothing like that."

Honor thinks for a minute. "Or maybe I was like that but..." She sighed and walked over to the bottle herself and finding a glass. "I thought we agreed us and alcohol probably weren't a good idea anymore?" She poured until her glass was half full and then took a sip. She looked back at him. "I don't blame you for being mad. I still have some stuff to figure out. It's not like I haven't thought about it.."

"If I didn't miss you or want you, I would have broken up with you, or I wouldn't be here." Honor takes another sip when he mentions someone telling him about her. "You got spies now, Holter?" She smirked a bit then nodded. "I went out and bumped into Kai." She laughed a little. "I thought you were gonna throw me out or something."

Honor nodded when he said he didn't want to hear about them together. "Okay." She then smiled. "Good. I miss having you around. Oh, almost forgot to tell you, me and my dad are talking again. He and that bitch are getting divorced. Turns out she was having an affair and the baby's not his. What a Maury story right?" She giggled, genuinely happy about things turning around with her father.

"Yeah.." Honor placed her empty glass on the counter watching him. It was like suddenly she felt nervous or something. She couldn't describe it. Maybe she just felt weird around him since they weren't together right now. She then shook her head and looked away, trying to occupy her mind.

Honor looks at him and then the bag. "Oh yeah. I'll help pack up and get out of your way." She smiled a little before grabbing some of the other things and placing them into the bag. She took this as her sign to leave. "Come here Jynx, it's almost time to head out." She calls to the cat which was laying and resting.

Honor looked over at him. She was so confused. It was like he wanted her to leave but at the same time wanted her to stay. She wanted to stay but she didn't want to make him feel anymore awkward than he probably did in his own home. "Yeah, sure. Anytime, just let me know. I'm free for a while so we can always hang out whenever." She smiled a little at him.
