Bailey laughs and Sophie looks up at ehr grandfather, smiling to him. "I sweet!" she yells, laughing.

Scott stands there and sighs, nodding as he listens to Gia rant a little. She had every right, of course, to say all of this, but Scott had not expected to hear all of this from her. Gia was normally quite forgiving, and in all the times he had done his disappearing act before, she had never been as worked up as this. He guessed he really had crossed the line this time. He nods when she says she deserves respect, looking up at her at last and holding his hands up in front of him as if to admit he is wrong. "Yes. You are right, Gia. I am an absolute dick and I realise that. Fuck I realised it like three weeks ago, but I felt ashamed of myself and embarrassed to come back." He sighs and runs his hands through his hair. When she says she'll leave, he feels a real fear in his stomach. In all the time he had pulled this sort of thing, he never expected that she would leave him, but now that she said it, the reality of losing not only his wife, but not being able to see his kids either seemed very real. He nods as he looks down. He didn't really know what to say at the time, and he felt like he was a kid that was being told off for doing something wrong. He sighs, feeling ridiculous, stupid and ashamed at himself. Gia really was hitting all the buttons this time. What she said was really hitting home, and he knew she meant business. He looks at her. "I know it means nothing at all. Fuck, my word means nothing, but I'm sorry. I am the worst father and husband, and if truth be told I don't even deserve you or the girls. The three of you have given me everything I have ever wanted and I should have been mature enough to talk to you and not keep running away." He holds his hands out to the side. "I don't know. Maybe I have a problem or something. What normal person would do this?" He sighs and turns around, placing his hands on the small bookshelf behind him as he shakes his head. He closes his eyes and tries to stop himself from crying. He just felt like the worst person in the world right there and then, and he couldn't see any reason for Gia to forgive him. He stands there shaking his head over and over. "I just want to be back with my family. I just want to be able to stop this. To stop being like this." He bows his head. Maybe he did need some sort of help, some therapy to stop him from running away when things got hard. One thing was for sure, Gia's stern voice and harsh words were a real lesson to him. Everything she said hit him like a ton of bricks, and he knew she was right - he was a piece of shit.

Sophie laughs when she gets hugged, and then when they come in for the group hug, she hugs Bailey. "Awwww Bailey so sweet," she says, copying Aurora. She giggles.

Scott nods when she tells him it's tough love. "Yeah. I don't deserve anything less." He knows that there is literally nothing he could say at this time that would make a difference to their situation. Actions speak louder than words, as they say, and Scott was going to have to prove things to her rather than just making promises. He had always broken those in the past. "I know...I know. There are no excuses. I'm making no excuses. I'm just an asshole." He looks up at her and sees the sadness in her eyes behind all the anger. "I'll get help. I'll find a therapist or a psych or whatever it takes." He knew something was wrong. There had to be a reason why he always did this, but he wanted to change for his family. When she mentions Sophie asking for stories, he looks down and some silent tears start to roll down his face. His behaviour was hurting his family more than he could see. He walks into the room behind her, standing near the door. "I don't mean to hurt you all. I'm sorry. I'm sorry to you, and to Sophie and to Bailey. None of you deserve this crap at all. I will fix it though. No empty promises this time. This time I get help I swear. And if you want to take my car keys so you know where I am, then that's fine." He shakes his head. "Bars aren't important. I'll stop drinking too. I'll stop now." He looks around when he hears Sophie laughing. "How are they?" he asks quietly.

Sophie claps. "Soup soup!" she yells. Bailey, always trying to learn from Sophie, smiles and tries to copy her. "Oo-ooop" sha says.

Scott listens as Gia tells him he really is on his last chance. Maybe this was what he needed to shake him back into shape again. What she was saying was not unreasonable at all. No one would have blamed her if she had walked away already after all of the crap he had put her through and the number of times he left already. He sighs and nods. "last chance. I won't screw up this time. I'll do it, for you guys. I'll get better." He looks sad, but hopeful he can make it work this time. He was determined. Gia had laid some real truths on him, and he wanted to make things right this time. Losing her and the kids was not an option in his eyes, and he would do everything to stop it happening. There was no way he could even live without them. The thought alone absolutely terrified him. He sits when she talks about Sophie, sitting close to Gia, but not too close. "Yes...she deserves us both to be there. They both do." He nods as he stares at the floor. The guilt was really getting to him now. "Thank you," he says quietly. "If you want, you can even come with me to the sessions. I don't have anything to hide from you at all."

Bailey looks confused by what they are all saying and she looks over. "SOAPY!" she shouts. Sophie laughs. "No shout!"

Scott nods again and keeps looking at the floor. "Ok, that's no problem. I can go on my own then. I just really want to know what's wrong. I want to be able to get through it." As she says she is there for support, he looks up to thank her, only to feel a sting as her hand comes down catching him hard in his face. He lifts his hand and rubs his cheek. It really hurt, and he could feel it turning red already. "I deserved that," he says quietly. He nods when she says next time it's his balls. "Do anything you want. It would be justified." Scott is still looking down when she hugs him, and he brings his arms around her gently, careful not to squeeze her. "I don't want you to be mad, but if you are then it's understandable. I've been a terrible husband and a bad father." He nods. "They sound like they like it here. We should visit more often." He sits up a little. "I will do better. you won't look like a fool, Gia. I promise I will do everything I can to make things alright again." He stays seated while she was standing in front of him. He felt a little intimidated, especially after she slapped him. But he didn't feel like she was doing anything wrong. Right now, he felt like he was at rock bottom emotionally, and he deserved everything she would give him.

Sophie takes the instruction very seriously and starts yelling. "Bailey, I a tiger! Raaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!" Bailey laughs and starts to join in with her. "Soapy Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" She giggles.

Scott thinks for a moment. "I'd like for you to come maybe to the first one with me. Help to find out what's wrong. You can tell the shrink anything you know about stuff as well. It might help if I forget any details." He nods slowly. Scott looked really sad. It was clear that this was a big moment of realisation in his life, and he had finally been forced to see the truth about himself. "I am terrible. What sort of husband or father would leave their wife and kids like that all the time. I couldn't blame you or the kids if you hated me at all. I don't even deserve any of you. You're all too good for me." He closes his eyes when the hug, taking in her smell and just savouring the feeling of being near her again. It had been so long. "I love you Gia. I love you so much. I just want to be better.." he says When she mentions Mark and Layla, he looks a little confused. "What do you mean Mark and Layla? Has something happened?"

Sophie laughs hard and starts to roar again before she screams. "Grandma run! The tigers grandma!" She laughs.

Scott smiles a little at Gia. "Thank you, Gi," he says, taking her hand and gently rubbing the back of it with his thumb. He was scared about what he would learn about himself. He had no clue how much he had been fucked up by all the crap he had done and seen over the years. He just wanted to be cured so that he could be a better husband to Gia. And he didn't want to be fucked up when the girls got older and could understand where he really went. "Ok Gi." He gives her a little smile and then squeezes her hand gently when she kisses him on the head. "Are you serious babe? When the hell did that happen?" He looks confused. "Like seriously? Nadia Berry, from GirlSpice?" He looks shocked. He never knew Mark would ever do anything like that. "Did that happen when we worked with them? Fuck...Mark and Layla..." hee shakes his head in disbelief.

Scott nods at Gia. "Thank you...I mean...shit, sorry Gi." He laughs a little and scratches the back of his neck. He looks up at her. "What are you thinking?" he asks her. She clearly still had something on her mind, and he could bet it was something to do with the way he had left and the therapy. He was worried as well. What if they told him he was crazy or had some sort of condition? He would hate that. Scott listens again as she talks about Mark. It was hard for him to hear a bad work said about his friend since Mark was basically Scott's rock for all these years. "I've not spoken to him since I worked with GirlSpice. That was like a month or two ago. A blog? What...like to tell everyone?" He was confused, and he didn't want to judge Mark, not until he knew everything about the situation. "There must be more to it, Gi. Mark wouldn't leave her just like that for nothing. Not Mark." He sighs. Secretly he was kinda impressed that Mark had managed to get with someone like Nadia. The Mark he met a decade ago would never have been able to even talk to Nadia. "Maybe it was mutual. Have you asked Layla?" He was programmed to stand for Mark. They had been friends for so long ot was hard to talk against him. "You think he'll come to your shower? This is the guy who wouldn't even come to meet you when we first started dating, Gi. He won't come. He wouldn't dare. Don't worry, there won't be any drama. Mark's too shy for that."

Scott sighs a little. "Same here. I'm kinda worried what they'll say about me. What if I'm like really fucked up? Or even worse, what if they say there's nothing actually wrong with me? That's a scary thought." He sighs and puts his head in his hands. He looks up again when she mentions Mark, sighing to himself. "No. Working with them was a good career move. If Mark met Nadia through that then it's just something that happened. I doubt he left Layla because of Nadia. There must have been something else there before that." He nods. "I doubt he'll come anyway, babe. You know Mark. He won't want the drama and stuff." He looks at her as she looks pissed at Mark again. "Would she even want to be in the same room as him? I doubt she would. Listen, if this is Mark's bad...and I'm still not sure, then I am sure Layla will find someone better. She's a good chick, and there must be someone out there for her." He smiles a little. "Mark wouldn't have meant to hurt her, Gi. He's a good guy. He's the est guy I know."

Scott sighs a little and nods when she tries to rationalise all of the things he has done in the last few years. He was definitely damaged by his parents in some way with the way they had just rejected him because of his music. Scott holds her hand when she squeezes it, looking up and into her eyes. "I love you, thank you." He lifts her hand and kisses it. When she mentions someone lying, Scott shakes his head. "Maybe Mark got it wrong, Gi, but I doubt he would actually lie. He's not that sort of guy." He shakes his head a little. He knew she was just mad and saying stuff she didn't mean. "Isn't that a bit harsh? I thought you and Nadia were like friends. How is she a spoilt princess?" He listens to her and nods. It was clear she needed to rant, and Mark was going to be the target of that rant now. "He's obviously done something wrong then, babe, but Mark is still a good guy. He's still that same good guy he's always been. If he and Layla are split then that's sad. And I know it must hurt her, I appreciate that, but if he doesn't love her the same as he did then she is better off without him right? Do you think she would rather he stayed there but didn't love her?" He smiles a little, stroking her hand. "Layla will be fine. She's a strong girl. And a pretty girl. Someone will come along for her."

Scott shakes his head and smiles at her softly. Gia was fiercely defensive if all her friends like this, and Scott had always found it sweet how she would try to look after all of them, even if he did think she stressed herself a little too much about things. He puts his hand on her back and rubs it a little. "I guess something is up. There will be a story behind it most likely, but there's no point getting yourself stressed," he says as he kisses her cheek. "More importantly, how are you and Logan doing? He's grown a hell of a lot since last time." He felt guilty that Gia had gotten a lot bigger while he was away. It was clear he had been away for too long given the change in the size of her bump now." He looks down and feels a little sadness that he hadn't been around for all of it. "you're looking like he's really healthy and well." He smiles at her softly.
