WORLD PREMIERE VIDEO: TISHA JACKSON'S 'YOUR QUEEN'

The day is September second. Tisha is lying down in her bed writing in her diary. She hears a ruckus going on down stairs. Tisha then hops off of her be onto the cherry oak hardwood floor to hear what is going on. She hears yelling amongst men. She looks unbothered as she listens.
Below her father is in their pool room surrounded by a group of men. On the pool tables lays fifty kilos of cocaine. Tisha hears him yelling in Spanish about the quality of the cocaine, and being unable to sell it. The screen forwards back down stairs as Tisha’s papi orders the gang to brutally beat the guy. The guy is laid of on top of the coke on the pool table and is pounded with fist, pool sticks, and eight balls, as he begins to bleed.
“Llevarlo a cabo de aquí”. Tisha’s papi says.
He then grabs a pool stick and bangs it to the top of the ceiling because he knows Tisha is ease drpping. Tisha hops up from the floor onto her bed again and begins to blast music as the guy is carried out of the Colombian mansion.
Tisha’s father walks up to Tisha’s room and opens her door. He turns off her radio as she sits on her bed. He then says, “Lo siento. Pero hay gente que trata de hacernos daño. No quería oír eso. Pero tengo que protegerte y todo lo que he trabajado para tener.”
Tisha looks unbothered. She is now immune to this. Her father is the biggest coke dealer and one of the biggest drug lords in all of Colombia. She is used to hearing scuffles because of bad drug deals. She just nods her head as he kisses her on the forehead. He then gets off the bed. Turns her radio back on and leaves.
Tisha then lies down and continues to listen to music. She lives a sheltered life in Colombia with her father. Her mother died when she was three and that is a part of the reason why her father is so over protective of her. Her mother was a African-American tourist, who was in Colombia on a student visa when she met her father. However people were so distasteful, scornful and judgmental that the union was never a complete happy one resulting in the suicide of Tisha’s mother. Therefore her father has been very protective over her due to her being mixed and the product of their relationship. He doesn’t want the scrutiny her mother face to affect his daughter. So she is sheltered, home schooled, and only has one real friend, Jermaine. Jermaine is Tisha’s riding trainer. Jermaine’s story is similar to Tisha’s, however his folks are still married and did not allow the pressures of society to deem their relationship. Tisha often seeks to Jermaine for refuge.
Her father knocks on the door and then opens it.
“Jermaine is here. Time for your training. Head downstairs.”
Tisha heads down stairs, smile beaming from ear to ear. Jermaine is waiting for her in the car. He smiles and bites his lip, as she enters the car. They wave to her dad. Her dad loves Jermaine. He treats her as if he’s the son he always wanted. In Tisha’s fathers mind, if he had a son, he would look like Jermaine, he would be a hard worker like Jermaine, and he would be a great man like Jermaine. He waves to Jermaine and Tisha as they pull off in the car. Jermaine always drives Tisha to his family’s horse ranch to practice her riding.
They drive off. The music for ‘Your Queen’ begins to play.
*Flashbacks of Jermaine teaching Tisha how to ride*

Tisha then begins to kiss Jermaine as he carefully drives. He smiles, as she kisses his neck and his lips. She then sticks her had out of the window playing with the wind. She isn’t the tense Tisha she is around her father. What her father doesn’t know is that Tisha and Jermaine are in a relationship, and have kept it top secret for six months now.

She’s even been able to sneak it around her father’s guards who follow her everywhere. The reason why the secret has remained so well kept is because Tisha’s father doesn’t see Jermaine as a threat to his daughter, and doesn’t suspect anything between them. He feels its pure innocence. Sure it is around him, but when they are alone it is madness, it is love, it is wild, it is sex, it is dirty, it is free, it’s the seventies in twenty thirteen.
Jermaine then takes Tisha to his ranch. They exit the car and Tisha hops onto Jermaine’s back for a piggy back ride to the horses. He then picks her up as they practice her riding. More than an hour has passed and Tisha has to be home by eight pm. It is now seven. Instead of readying her to go home Jermaine leads Tisha to the saddle ranch where they keep the hay for the horses.

They begin to kiss as he pins her down onto the wooden wall. Tisha then turns around as he kisses her neck. Her eyes flicker up and down as he kisses her. She grabs his hand. “We shouldn’t be doing this.” She says in a low tone. She knows she has to be home soon. “Why shouldn’t we?” “I love you”. Jermaine says. Tisha continues to kiss him passionately as they fall onto a hay stack. Jermaine climbs on top of her. “But my father, I have to be heading home”. “You’re with me. I got you.” Jermaine says as he kisses her. Jermaine continues on top of her as the sun sets.
Meanwhile, it is now eight thirty and Tisha’s father is worried. She has never been late from a lesson, and she has never been outside the house passed her curfew. He gets worried, thinking they may have been in a wreck or something, he gets the crew and they head to Jermaine’s home.
On the road, Tisha’s father sits in a SUV and six motorcycles escort him to see about his child’s whereabouts. Three in front, three in back. He suited up in case it’s payback for a bad deal he’s made. Fearing for the worst he arrives at the ranch.
Tisha and Jermaine see the white head lights. They know what’s up. She begins to dress and he puts himself together. The vehicles stop, her dad hops out angrily. He knows what they’ve been doing. She jumps off Jermaine disheveled. Hay all over her stripped maxi dress. Jermaine looks like he just saw death as Tisha’s father and his squad approach them. The music to 'Your Queen' abruptly stops.
Tisha’s father had a tear rolling down his right cheek. Jermaine, being the upstanding man grabs Tisha’s hand to protect her. Inside they both tremble. Tisha begins to shake fearing for the worst. She looks down at the hay like a child, can’t standing to look her papa in the eye. Jermaine stares at her dad and the crew.
“Jermaine you do this to me.” Tisha’s pa holds his heart. “I trusted you”, his voice trembles. “I trusted you to take care of my daughter. I treated you like a son, and this is how you pay me??
Tisha father grabs her away from Jermaine. She screams, “Aaaahhh”. He nudges her in the head and pushes her. “Ti Ti get in the car” She turns and looks at Jermaine, “But dad, I want to be with…” He cuts her off, “I said take your ass in the car. Two guards grab her and put her in the SUV. Jermaine continues to stare at his girlfriends father.
That’s when Tisha’s father kicks him in the knee. Jermaine, not expecting it, falls to the floor. Two other guards lift, Jermaine’s body off the ground while the other two repeatley punch him in the stomach. Tisha finally notices from the car as she yells, “Noooooo” in a high pitched voice. Tisha screams as the guards hold her down in the car. Meanwhile outside Jermaine is being brutally beaten blood is now pouring out of his mouth. He falls to the ground.
Tisha’s father watches and yells,
“Acqui! Enough!”
He then kneels down to Jermaine saying, “Stay away from her. Or the next time, I may not be so merciful”
He and the guards walk to the SUV as Jermaine lays on the ground trying to breathe, battered eye, busted lip and his pale face black and blue. Tisha’s father enters the SUV, she looks disgusted at him as they pull off.
Hours later they are home. Tisha is kept in her room, as punishment. A guard securing her door, while other guards secure the premise of the mansion making sure Jermaine doesn’t show up for retaliation. Tisha cries herself to sleep.
It is now morning. The only guard who is still on duty is the one securing Tisha’s door. They figure Jermaine will never come back after what was done to him last night. Tisha wakes up visibly shaken from the previous night when she opens her window. She looks down and it’s Jermaine.
Jermaine I all busted up, his arm in a sling, several large bandages on his face. And dark dried up blood on the side of his busted lip. He doesn’t speak; put directs Tisha to hop down immediately. Tisha quietly hops onto her balcony and walks down the patio to meet Jermaine. “You love me.” He whispers urgently. “Yes.” Tisha whispers urgently. “You want to be with me”? He whispers even more urgently. “Yes” she answers more urgent. “Then come be with me.” Tisha takes a look back, knowing that if she were to go with Jermaine, her father would either disown her or kill him. But she realizes she’s out grown this place, she can’t live here sheltered anymore. “Let’s roll” Tisha wearing a lounge sleeping sweater and flip flops follows Jermaine. He takes her to the back road of her home where he always took the short cut to come meet her for her lesson. There awaits the horse she always practiced on.
The music to 'Your Queen' resumes.

Jermaine hurries settling Tisha onto the horse, with his one good arm. She looks at him crying, she can’t believe he went to these lengths to be with her. Jermaine hops onto the horse as Tisha holds onto his waist kissing his neck. He kisses her on her lips. “You ready babe?” he says in a low voice “Let’s go” she says optimistic smiling. They ride off.
Meanwhile at the house, Tisha father knocks and barges right in as usual. The camera cuts to him erratically tearing her room apart, searching for her. He then stops, holding his head crying. He unknowingly chased his baby girl away. He yells at the guard outside her door for allowing this to happen.
[Instrumental Interlude]
At last, Tisha and Jermaine arrive at their destination. A Justice of the Peace court in a little town outside of Pereira called Salento. Tisha hops off the horse first. She then helps Jermaine down, due to his condition. They walk in holding hands. The camera cuts to them, an ordained minister reads them there nuptials, he places the ring on her left hand, ring man, as they kiss to seal the deal. Outside, a receptionist hands them their marriage license. She is his and he is hers. There is no interference, no sneaking around, they are husband and wife and can now flaunt their love proudly, loudly, and boldly in the streets.

The camera cuts to them passionately kissing in their hotel suite. Jermaine lies out on the bed, as Tisha kisses him looking at her ring marveled, and her marriage licensed marveled. Free from the pains of their pasts, but joined together as a new union.
