"God, al of that is true. I have to buy groceries like every week for this guy." Jen sticks her tongue out at him and laughs. "And you two will get along juuust fine." Susan smiles. "We're glad you two came. Have you already made some plans for the wedding?"

"Australia? Why not get married here?" Her father asks them both. "Because it's our wedding dad. Plus, I love it there." Susan, obviously the optimistic one, seemed excited about the news. "That sounds nice. I've never been there before. What's it like?" Jen looked at her. "It's gorgeous mom, you'll live it."

"Yes, and it'll be perfect weather and outdoors." She smiles. David shrugs. "Well, if that's what you both want. I guess I can be happy." Before Susan can speak, the door is heard and a loud male voice is heard. "Hey, where is everyone? We got the stuff, I may have ate a few things already." He walks into the kitchen first, setting the bags on the counter then heads into the living room. Lucas, a tall, handsome guy with black hair. "Hey, there you guys are." He grins at everyone. Right behind them was Jen's older sister Katie, who had a round belly and was also smiling. "Hey, Jen!" Jen gets up and hugs her lightly. "Ahh, my nephew is getting bigger!"

"Hey, you must be Scott." Lucas looks at him and offers him a handshake. "I'm Lucas, the cute one. That's Katie. She's so so." He chuckles as Katie looks at him as well. "Hey! I've heard so much about you, such great things. You're much cuter in person." She smiles at him.

"Same here. I felt weird looking up a guy so.." He grins and then looks at Katie, laughing. "I don't think it's a baby either. She just wants sympathy you guys." Katie laughs. "Yes, I am. I'll prove to you in a few days when he arrives." She sticks her tongue out at them. "Nice to meet you Scott. I see you've met the whole family really. I pity you so much now." Jen laughs at their conversation. "Don't worry, older men are her type." Lucas chuckles loudly. "Nice Jen, niiice." Susan shakes her head. "Quit messing with your sister you guys."

"Well, at least I will have food left." Jen smirks back at him and then looks back at the family. "Okay, who needs my help in the kitchen now?" She gets up as Susan and Katie smile. "I think we should let the men play while us women make their dessert. Hopefully, everyone will still be here when we come back." Katie giggles softly. "Don't worry, we'll be here." Lucas says as he sits down where Susan was sitting. "So by your accent...you are either from Australia or you might be a bad con artist." He smirks. David shakes his head. "His humor grows on you."

"Yeah, I've got good ears." He smirks and then looks at Jen. "You know, for a twin, you're not very good at noticing con artists." Jen rolls her eyes. "He can sing, he's being very, very hard on himself. And besides, I'm older than you by 10 seconds so ha." She sticks her tongue out at him. "I'll be right back, going to help with the dessert." Lucas scratches his head. "So, getting married? That's a big step. You sure you like my sister like that? She can be a handful."

"I made that same vow when I was younger. So far, I didn't chicken out like you." He grins. He liked Scott, he was definitely like him in a lot of ways. "I'm glad you're not some jerk. Me and my dad would have had to take you out then, isn't that right dad?" He looks at his father, drinking his lemonade. "Of course. It's the Armstrong way." Lucas then laughed at his joke. "Yes, she's such a weirdo. Well, if that's what you're into I guess...don't say I warned you 5 months into the marriage."

"It's always Jen's fault, that's my motto. Everything that happens in the house, it's her fault. Been blaming her since I was a kid." He laughs a little. Lucas wasn't full of himself but he knew he was funny and charming, almost to the point Scott was. It was probably why the two got along so well already. "Wellington is it? Jennifer Wellington. Sounds like she's moving up in the world then." David put up his hand, making a 'so-so' movement with it. "At least you made the effort to visit. We never met him at all."

"Katie or Jen, those are my victims. But can you blame me? They're practically walking accidents. I'm always hurt around them and I don't think it's a coincidence." He grins. "You hate your own last name? Well, yeah...beef wellington is all I'm thinking about right now. I don't know what it'd be like to put the two together. I can imagine that would be a nightmare filling out paperwork. That's got to be at least half of the alphabet in your two names combined." Lucas nodded. "Yup, I think he just wanted her to himself, didn't bother meeting us but his loss. He's not the one getting to meet the coolest family around." David laughed. "That's right Lucas. Us Armstrong's are incomparable to anyone else. The best on the block!" As they talk, Katie walks in with her glass of lemonade. "Oh, here we go. You've got them all hyped up now. No more sugar for either of you."
