NICK PALMER TO RE-EMERGE WITH BRAND NEW BAND!
‘The musician has suffered a stuttering career so far, but having recently left rehab he looks set to embark a new musical journey but this time he won’t be doing it all on his own. He’ll be joined by his new band. Here’s the story;

When Nick Palmer arrived on the music scene, he was quickly lauded as a genre-bending musical genius of sorts. His debut album ‘The Mad Scientist’ all but confirmed this reputation with genres as diverse as classical, hip-hop, punk, dubstep, metal, soul, rap and rock all finding a place within the confines of ten songs. It introduced us to a couple of hit songs too, with ‘Breakout’ which featured the female Rockstar Lily Abbott and ‘Popular Music Is Dead’ it all appeared to signal towards one thing for Nick Palmer, unprecedented success. However, we all know too well that stories that start out well, don’t always go as smoothly as planned. Nick Palmer toured with Electrodeath and alongside various other musicians, but the constant struggle was finding a core audience, because his music was so diverse it dictated a dedicated fanbase but it didn’t have a core base which every successful music act has had, Bob Dylan (folk), The Beatles (pop), The Rolling Stones (blues rock), Nirvana (grunge), Metallica (metal) … we could go on.
You could argue that part of the downfall was due to the fact that he didn’t have one solid base, one genre that he worked around and experimented around, but perhaps more obvious would be the age-old story of rock and roll excess. You’ve heard it all before, the touring lifestyle gets lonely and old pretty fast, sometimes you just need a little something to numb the pain, to keep the demons at bay but sometimes your vices can take hold of you and eat away at you and eventually destroy you. It appeared that everything was normal from the outside, back in July 2012 it was thought that things were looking great for the musician, he was working on his sophomore album, tentatively titled ‘Gothic Fiction Reality’, we’ve even heard rumours that the album was completed, but never released as news broke that Nick Palmer was committed to a rehabilitation center located on the outskirts of California and that’s where the story looked to end.

But over one year later, it appears that Palmer is ready to re-emerge or at least attempt to. He has recently left rehab, whether it proved wholly successful or not, remains to be seen. But he is looking at the music industry with mouth-watering anticipation, “It’s been too long” was the simple message posted on his blog earlier this morning, at 3:37am to be exact. But that blog has received more action this morning than in the past year, as later this morning a professional photograph of Nick Palmer with what is believed to be his new band was posted under the headline ‘PARTY-POISON AND THE KOBRA KIDS’, again though this wasn’t the only Nick Palmer action of the day, he was spotted arriving at LAX airport at 4:13am by our reporters who were hoping to catch another musician reported to be arriving this morning, our reporter was on hand to get a shot of Palmer and ask a few questions.





We sadly do not have information on who he is hoping will produce his next record, we don’t know if it will be with Studio60 Records whom he still has a solo album deal with or whether he has found a new label for his new band. We don’t rate his chances of making it, although he appears to be rather confident of his own chances. But perhaps that’s the drugs and booze talking. Who knows with this guy!
