thought i would go on with the +18 for a drug like LSD. i did acid just once, last year. i was 14, and i had a fucking amazing experience, but even in that state i could understand i was too young to be doing something like that.

The problem with age limits is they are so fucking arbitary. Take it from me as a 24 year old, just over a week away from turning 25. I felt no different at 16 than 18. And not all that different at 21 from 18. The thing is, different people mature at different ages and arbitary age limits are fucking bullshit.

Drugs can give you many things. Make you immune to pain for short periods of time, make you deliriously happy, they can inspire you artistically, and obviously they can have plenty of negative effects.

But the idea that drug users are stupid is in its self quite silly. As already mentioned, Sigmund Freud, the worlds most renowned psychoanalyst was an absolute coke fiend, author Stephen King spent most of the 80s high on cocaine, confessing he "cannot remember a couple of books" he wrote during this time. American polymath Ben Franklin used opium and cocaine. Victorian era authors Charles Dickens and Arthur Conan Doyle both used opium. Author Aldous Huxley did not shy away from use of psychoactive drugs like mescaline & LSD. Apple founder Steve Jobs has used LSD & cannabis. Kary Mullis, the 1993 Nobel Prize for Chemistry winner had this to say "Back in the 1960s and early '70s I took plenty of LSD. A lot of people were doing that in Berkeley back then. And I found it to be a mind-opening experience. It was certainly much more important than any courses I ever took."

Yeah, I think you see my point. A Nobel winner is smarter than you and I.

Personally i try and avoid most medical drugs, including asprin and paracitemol... simply because i think they are far to over used in the modern world and the more you use them the less the effect they have as your body builds up a resistance to it.

On drugs: almost everyone I know has smoked weed at least once (hey, we're Dutch, we have to, hehe), but that's not a big deal. Most of the people I know that moved on to hard stuff though dropped out of high school and became antisocial retards that almost everyone pities. That said, I have never smoked weed, snorted coke or done anything of the sort.

No I believe Rince did that by suspending her :P
