Welcome to Freestyle Friday and today we have someone who been in a whole lot of freestyle battles and release Listen and Be Amazed. Kidd Amaze!
Kidd comes out as he waves to the cheering crowd shaking hands with bow-wow and hugging Keshia. He then sits down and finish waving to everyone
Bow-wow: You really came from out of nowhere and battling for money and know your sign to label, it must be a nice feeling to it right?
Kidd: It's a great feeling, and I do this for all of yall. (cheers from the crowd) I do, I am a man of the people and I want all of my fans and non fans to enjoy themselves when they come and see me.
Keshia:You came out with this new style of being romantic while rapping and a lot of times people think that rappers are hardcore, only care about sleazy women, and you write love songs while still rapping?
Kidd: It is not something new to me, I write a lot of things and I don't think that I could be categorize as just a rapper cause I'm not. I'm a musican first, and I want to have people wonder what new thing they are going to hear from me. I might do gospel and a week later do punk rock. So you can expect to me to bring a lot of different things throughout my career.
Bow-wow:Not a lot of people can talk about their personal life, about being in a relationship and losing love ones because of the persona that we put on ourselves, how do you deal with that challenge?
Kidd: I feel like that is the best way for your fans to get to know you. I know when I was going through hard times music is what what made my day better. Music goes straight into the psyche of the soul. Get you in the mood gets you pump it gets you through, so nobody wants to think that people on the record are lying. The jewels and popping bottles aren't realistic but that what people feel and try to go out and do so I want to be honest and tell people what I'm going through and they know that I being truthful about what I say.
Keshia: Let’s go right into your CD, You have twelve songs which one was your favorite to do?
Kidd:Getting into the hard questions now huh? Uhhh I would have to say Here to party? That was hard to get everyone to come in and at first it was going to be just me and parish, but then I heard about Liyah. Shout out to the two of them for making that song with me that made it happen. Once the song came out it was all over the place and I was a party hit so i was the favorite one to do.
Keisha: You said you were going to do a music video is that still in the works?
Kidd: Yea, yea. The music video is still on the way. I been busy of finishing everything but I'm going to now do a music video so everyone be on the look out for that.
Bow-wow: You’re now a signed artist what do you think is going to be one thing that is different?
Kidd: I don't think anything is going to be that much different. I'm still going to be me I think the only thing that is going to be different is the fact that I will get more money for promotion. Better promotion and a tour.
Keisha: Do you have anything in the works rights now?
Kidd: I actually did a song with barbarian for this new song. (Cheers come from the crowd again,) I cought her while she finishing her song with daniel, dirty money. So I caught this music and I instantly thought of her so you know I want to give people a follow up to Cheat so I'm excited about it. You guys will hear about it soon.
Bow-wow: Who is someone that you would like to work with in the future?
Kidd: Umm, Issac. You know I heard lot about him and I gotten able to talk to him about working together but you know that it gets hard to match things up, but hopefully soon you guys will get to hear that.
Keisha: Is there anyone now that you have your eye on as far as people to watch?
Kidd: I'm new why don't you guys watch me? *laughing* you know I'm looking at Drew Westbrook. He did that hit song with Sonyae so you know I'm interested to see what he comes with.
Bow-wow: Well we going to see you preform after the commercial break so everyone stay tuned.
After the commercial break Bow-wow is close to the stage
Bow-wow: Okay we're back and everyone get your hands together for Kidd Amaze,
Kidd is at the stage with a mic and someone playing the guitar
"Everyone put your hands together," Kidd said as the guitar player started playing the beginning to I will give you everything.
What I’m called is not important so I shouldn’t have to name it
Though my words are so insightful that I think you should fame it
People look at me as talent don’t they know how hard I work
People think up crazy shit like they were brought in by a stork
Once it goes into a different tempo the DJ scratches the record and the music comes on.
Sorry, but I need to pop the bubble on this misconception
For what you see is an illusion based off of misdirection
Why do I try so hard, there will away be someone better
In this today and age if it not new it just whatever
But never will I be cast aside for preference of the new toy
When I’m around I show the difference between a man and a boy
Funny cause I was kicked out hanging with the cool and popular
Only time girls were up close was through my friend’s binocular

Even when getting man handled just thinking about them and they giggly
Really, I started to talk about rap which they didn’t know about

During the break the guitar is played again.

The DJ puts the music again as Kidd starts rapping
Finally, one of us nerds was able to get in and infiltrate
Rapping was easy they will just bring me people to incinerate
And I destroy them all, feel like a god alive again
Never focus schoolwork always raping and going in
Always used the right brain told left that you were wrong
I was gifted and was somebody that you doubted all along
Building myself up from nothing thus proving that I exist
Everyday a new girl I was always getting the assist
People seem to think that I would want to be famous
And once those lights hit me for the first time outrageous
Put you on a pedestal man you are in clouds
You supposed to be one of us, a nerd, man how?
You got me confused I’m a king and an idol
You want to learn about me you should get a rap bible
Two things will happen in this state of mind
Hopefully you’ll remember yourself and rewind
If not then you will be trapped in your own confine

Chicken Little won’t help with you splat over the floor and walls
But I’m chose to ball it didn’t just choose me
I’ll never take the blame; it was my fault, never the plea
Truthfully I’m what these rappers wish they could be
It’s not a superior complex when you prove it in your city

The DJ goes into a riff as kidd pumps up the crowd and then cuts the music.
