  Serenity Scott was born on 28th September, 1988 in Los Angeles, California, U.S. to Romeo Scott (father) and Victoria Scott (mother). She's their second child. Serenity enjoyed attending school when she was younger, and she often brought home good grades. Because of her high academic performance and being the only child at home, Serenity was often spoiled.
Serenity became interested in music when she was 13. She started performing in her school talent shows and her parents paid for her to get vocal lessons. By the time Serenity was in high school, she began performing at different small venues in her hometown Los Angeles. After she graduated high school, she held her music career priorities back for a while to attend Princeton University, where she studied Business. She finished college and got her Bachelor's degree and decided to begin focusing on her music career again.
In 2012, she released her debut single 'Wonderland' which peaked at #5 on the Digital Chart. She then released a string of singles which were included on her debut studio album 'Teenage Era' which was released on August 17th, 2012. The album also featured her singles 'Escape from the Back', 'Part of Him (Within Me)', 'Take Over', 'Good Morning (ft. Lukle Striker)', and 'Marilyn Monroe'.
Serenity kicked off her new 'Freedom Era' on August 31st, 2013 when she released the lead single off of her upcoming second studio album 'FREEDOM' which is set to be released on November 28th, 2013. She released the second single off of the album titled 'Treasure' on November 11th, 2013. The lead single received generally positive reviews from music critics and was a worldwide success, peaking at number one on the charts and selling over 2 million copies. The second single 'Treasure' was met with critical acclaim from music critics. Serenity is set to embark on her first worldwide concert tour in 2014 in support of her upcoming album.
