   "Treasure" is the second single off of Serenity's upcoming second studio album "Freedom", which is due out in stores on November 24th, 2013. The song is Serenity's sixth single overall since releasing her debut single last spring of 2012. Her previous lead single/title track off of the album titled "Freedom" was released on August 31st and has since sold over 2 million copies according to the official Top 20 Weekly Downloads Charts. The video for the single premiered on her VEVO channel on September 15th, 2013. So far, this new era for Serenity is proving to be quite a successful one thus far.
Back with the second single off of the album two weeks prior to it's release, Serenity took a much more softer, emotional, and spiritual approach with this song than the lead single off of "Freedom". The song is of the pop and incorporates dance and electro elements. The song was written solely by Serenity who describes the song to be one that "gets your emotions off of your chest". The song is also described as one of Serenity's favorites off of the album as well. The song was produced by George King and was co-produced by Serenity herself.
"Definitely, I'd say that this is one of my personal favorites off of the album. I wrote and composed this song entirely by myself and I'm extremely proud of that. Not every artist can say that nowadays. Aside from that, I enjoyed recording this track because it means a lot to me believe it or not. It's my personaly way of telling someone how much they mean to me and how much I appreciate that person. It's a song that gets your emotions off of your chest kind of a song.
