THE ANTICIPATED FOLLOW-UP SINGLE FROM U.S RAPPER ‘MIAMI’ LEAKS ONLINE! ‘Turbulent times for the blonde haired musician? Her debut single failed to light up the music world and a version of her follow-up effort has today found a way online, reportedly a few months before its planned release!’
> Amelle ‘Miami’ Sebert, such a pretty pretty pretty face, such a pretty big waste of our time <
Sunday, 17 November 2013
“Yes, it’s not been the most gloriously triumphant beginnings in the music career of Amelle Sebert, better known as ‘Miami’. Her debut single “Blazin’ My Own Trail” failed to ignite any sort of real interest and peaked at a lowly #14 position on the singles charts and gained little recognition from the music world. This saw a quiet period for ‘Miami’ as she hit the studio shortly after its release to work on songs that would form the nucleus of her debut album, widely expected to be released through ‘Songs to Love and Die By’ in mid-2014, amongst the songs that were recorded in preparation for her debut full-length is a track titled “A Statement Of Intent” ironic considering the lack of intent her previous single made, it’s clichéd lyrics no doubt boring listeners to epic proportions and thusly setting young ‘Miami’ off on a career path that places her somewhere in the pantheon of nothingness alongside a number of wannabe stars who have also failed miserably in their attempts at fame and fortune.
> She recently had her own private 'launch' concert, we imagine not many people showed up to the "event" <
The song “A Statement Of Intent” has already been earmarked as the second single to be released from the “budding” rapper and was expected to be released towards the end of January, no doubt the thought process went along the lines of ‘A New Year a new start’, but whether this decision will be changed remains to be seen. The reasoning for that is because the track or at least a version of the track has been leaked online, as you’d imagine, there hasn’t been a flurry of interest, views, comments or even likes on the track. But here at Culture Uncut thought we would throw little ‘Miami’ a bone and some free promo by sharing the track, check it out below;
“A Statement Of My Intent” Written and performed by Amelle ‘Miami’ Sebert
“I used to think you were my very own saviour A knight in shining armour Then along came f*cking karma Just like you, it stabbed me in the back Picked apart the pieces of me Pointing out the things that I lack But the way that you did it was what was so f*cked up You tore me down just to pick me up Playing games with my mind I was wrong to think you were the loving kind You just wanted to see me fall behind And lose everything that I’ve ever loved
Friends went away Because I took your side Youth wasted Because I’d rather hide Thinking that I’m worthless Without you by my side Thinking that I needed you Get me off this f*cked up rollercoaster ride And now that I’m on my way People still got sh*t to say
You tore my soul to pieces Kept em’ for yourself Held them out in front of me Like a trophy on your shelf Yeah you played with my feelings Twisting and turning my tangled up heart Stood back into the darkness And watched me fall apart Yeah, you nearly f*cking killed me But that sh*t is just who I used to be Because now you see me rising I ain’t gonna vent I just need you to know That this is a statement of intent So you may be gone But the hate will carry on But I don’t give a sh*t Cos’ I’ve been growing strong
I may not be the prom queen I may not be part of the social scene I may not fit into the f*cked up little cliques I may not know all of the inside tricks But I’m on a pathway Rising high Shooting like a firework in the night sky And now that I’m on my way People still got sh*t to say
I guess for a while they all thought that I was pretty f*cked They be talkin’ sh*t about how I had it all Firing out clichés like when you’re at the top it’s a long way to fall But I just think f*ck em’ Let em’ say what they wanna say I know I ain’t gonna go changing anyway They can play the games that they wanna play But I ain’t gonna be playin’ along F*ck no! I’mma be strong I’mma change the world with my song I’m right where I belong
I may not be the prom queen I may not be part of the social scene I may not fit into the f*cked up little cliques I may not know all of the inside tricks But I’m on a pathway Rising high Shooting like a firework in the night sky And now that I’m on my way People still got sh*t to say” |

Serenity: I LOVE Miami. I became a fan of hers when she released "Blazin' On My Own Trail"! I love this new one too. It doesn't matter about the record sales. It's about the quality of the music and your passion for it.

He might do not like what we're going to to do now! he's really shy and very private but there's nothing thet Culture Uncunt can't find out! so here we go...Five things you didn’t know about mISTER-b1. He was born in NYK In 1988 he was born in NYK, Brooklyn, where he was raised by his parents till he was 5 years old when they died in a car crash, he didn’t suffer so much once he didn’t even know his parents as well as he wished he would. He then moved to his Grandmother’s home where he lived till his age of 17.
2. He didn’t go to College He refused to go to College, and started out working really young on a local radio station in NYK, where he learned most of his skills as a producer and DJ. His Grandmother was always one to push him to go to College but his intentions was to play on clubs as a professional DJ, something he only got the opportunity to do, when his friend Thomas founded a nightclub in NYK and hired mISTER-b as resident of his club.
3. His real name is… His name was chosen by his mother according to his Grandmother and it was his grandfather’s name too, from his dad side. When he decided to be called as mISTER-b which by the way he was named that, because of a radio show he hosted when he was 17 which he used to spend the whole night playing love songs and attending phone calls where most of the audience used to ask him love things, but he used to mess up with those people, so they started to call him mister bullshit, because none of what he was saying made any sense. But he’s real name is… Drake Anthony Zaslavski (his surname being Russian)
4. He was discovered by Lilly Stuart While Lilly Stuart from past girlband ElectroDeath was trying to find underground producers to work with her in her band’s fifth and final studio album, she found out by her boyfriend (now husband) that there was this young man on Thomas’s club playing every night his crazy and irregular beats. Obviously after he joined ElectroDeath production team, he refined his tastes on music and learnt how to really make good pop tunes without losing his musical roots.
5. He was once married! You may know that he wrote a couple of romantic songs for other artists but what you did not know is that he was married once! He met his first and only wife when he was playing in that club he resided when he was 19 and they dated for a yearlong and then married, she was three months pregnant when she lost their baby because of her abusive on drugs such as cocaine, even though mISTER-b revealed he never used drugs in his life. They separated after what happened and mISTER-b remains single for almost three years now. |

Bullshit' but the fact that people were enjoying me, it got to a point where people would call me to hear non sense advises for their lives... so as I always say, people are crazy specially nocturnal people! |

This Week On Late Night With Jimmy Fallon: 'Merjos Week'You know you're a Merjos when.....you get an entire week dedicated to your family. Well, maybe just three of them, Hannah Beth, Isabel, and Hayden Merjos. The three siblings in the industry that have become one of the most successful families that have weathered the storm that is the music industry. In honor of them, the family's good friend, Jimmy Fallon, has decided to do a special week for them which will include performances and interviews from them as well as showing some of their past special moments with the late night talk show host. The first to be welcomed is Isabel, who will appear on the show this Wednesday and then following her will be cousin Hannah Beth on Thursday with a performance from Hayden right on the day his new single, 'How To Get On By' will be released. Hayden will be the only member not to partake in the series of interviews as it has become well known that Hayden joins the short list of artists who hardly even give interviews. The rumor circulating that is he does not want to get asked any personal questions but it seems the other two Merjos members are more than happy to sit down and chat with Mr. Fallon.
Hannah Beth is also rumored to be performing her latest single, 'Tables Turnin' on the show Friday night but this has not been confirmed or denied by her or her reps. Sources also say that Izzy will be doing some promotion for her upcoming television series, 'Alistair' and even giving some details about upcoming music next year. What do you think about 'Merjos Week'? Are you looking forward to it or finding something else to watch? |

The Zone's New Album Filled With 'Rejected' Weekend Demos? It has been a while since we have heard anything from super cute U.S boy band The Zone and you'd think that after a lengthy break and with stiff competition for the hearts of teenage girls, they would return with a bang. Well if the rumours that are currently going around turn out to be true then it seems like the boys could be facing more of a sophomore slump than a triumphant return to the top half of the music charts. The boys have allegedly re-recorded tracks which Weekend dubbed as 'not good enough' and ultimately rejected which means that the majority of The Zone's new album may possibly sound like a.....well, like a whole collection of crappy pop songs basically. The Zone officially moved to Weekend's record label, Five Pesky Kids, earlier this year when said label took over Kiss My Pop records which was about to go bust. It's safe to say that the transition to their new label hasn't been a very smooth ride. Blake Williams and Weekend member Dustyn Blue dated for months, became one of the biggest gay couples in showbiz and even had a civil partnership but sadly, things weren't meant to be. The pair broke up a few months back and 'a lack of trust and communication' was cited as the reasoning behind the split. Having you ex-partner control your career can't exactly be good news, can it? If that wasn't enough, Billy Khan has even hit out and the group and expressed his dislike toward the Floridian four piece on several occasions. Insiders say that Billy was not keen on keeping The Zone on the roster and has slated not only their music but their personalities too. Khan took to Twitter a few weeks ago and dubbed both Blake Williams and Chris Adams as "total dickheads" whilst stating that Liam Allen has "absolutely no personality". Youngest member of the band, Jason Ochoa, got off lightly and was titled "the only good one" by Khan. Blake later retaliated and called Billy's outburst "unprofessional" and "immature". So if there is bad blood between both camps, why would The Zone want Weekend's leftover tracks? According to insiders, Five Pesky Kids have cut funding for The Zone's new album and slapped an extremely close deadline for the project on them. With little time and even less money to bring in multiple producers and writers to work with, it is believed that The Zone have had to act fast and take advantage of anything they can in order to complete their currently untitled second studio album. The group recently announced the title and cover art of their new single, 'Wildfire'. The announcement came as a surprise to everyone as there had been no hype built up for the release nor has there been any mention of it on Pesky's website under their 'upcoming releases' section, again backing up the idea that there may be some foul play going on. With a new era that isn't being handled well approaching and moderate success in the past, could it mean the end of the road for The Zone? Rival boy band Weekend have topped the charts all over the globe and fellow young pop acts such as Isabel, Teen Titans, Serenity Scott and Michelle Green have all achieved the same feat whereas The Zone have yet to score a number one record or even a top three record anywhere. They have experienced a fair amount of success in the US and the UK but have failed to crack the majority of Europe and the rest of the globe. It's already been confirmed that this new album will not receive a release in Australia after only one of their previous singles, 'Beautiful In Every Way', managed to make a dent in the charts there - peaking at #64. Their debut album, 'The High Life', also came in at a dismal #92 on the Australian charts. After only achieving lukewarm sales with huge backing behind them the first time around, how are they going to fare now without support from their label and a smaller budget? What do you think about all of this? Do you believe that whole affair is true or do you think that this is just another rumour started by jealous fan bases? Please leave your comments below. |

Lilly: You gotta be careful on discussing things like contracts and songs produced, perhaps the rejected songs of Weekend were rebuilt with new producers and they ended up being good, an artist don't reject a song because it's not a good song, there are hundreds of cases in the business of songs that were reject by someone but it ended up on being huge hits with someone else. I wish the best for The Zone, success will come with hard work, so go on boys, don't gave up from you dream and fight harder! |

ALEX SIMMS AND JULIA VOLKOVA TEASE NEW MUSIC, A DEADLY COMBINATION?‘It's reported that the two rock stars have been writing songs together after Simms recently made a surprise appearance onstage with Julia at the Reckless Infinity Festival. The two have worked together in the past and have both became big parts of the rock scene in the past year but is this new collaboration good news?’The two musicians first came into contact with each other earlier in the summer when Alex Simms was still a relative unknown in the music world and Julia was just about the biggest Rockstar around at that time. But thanks to the connections of Simms boss at Songs to Love and Die By, Ms. Amy Meyer, she managed to convince the giant rock goddess to meet the young musician and consider working with him on a track for his debut album. It was even noted by us here at Culture Uncut that the two rockers hit it off immediately with late night writing sessions fuelled by alcohol being reported, the outcome of this period of time was a passionate track called ‘We Are Like Vultures’ which was included on Alex Simms’ debut album ‘Enigma’ and featured guest vocals from Julia Volkova. It’s been rumored that both Alex and Julia are saving that song to be released as a single at the perfect time and recent reports seem to indicate that it would be in preparation for a new Alex and Julia collaboration. We don't have word on whether they will be releasing a couple of singles together or an E.P or even possible an entire album, but it's been talked about a lot on social media by both artists fanbases who are known to be very loyal and passionate about their favourite musicians, but we think this will be a good thing as they style's seem to match perfectly. The two musicians had been out of contact ever since recording that song together back in the summer, but recently Alex Simms visited the ‘Reckless Infinity Festival Tour’ to see friends from the band ‘My Girl Friday’ which led to him meeting up with Julia once more, it’s reported that the two spoke about plans to work together again in the future and later reported that they even wrote a few tracks together. An insider for the festival stated, "It became a big thing around those of us that have been working around this festival, Julia already seemed to be introverted and sort of hid herself away from everybody. But when Alex showed up it was like this change happened in her, she suddenly had that attitude that you always imagine she would have, It seemed like she was having more fun on and off the stage when he arrived and I think it gave her a bit of energy and enthusiasm." On top of this, Alex Simms joined Julia onstage during her performance the very next evening and gave a very passionate rendition of one of Julia’s songs called ‘The Bite’ which originally featured James Urie. It’s reported that the arrival onstage of Simms was met with incredible excitement by the audience and that the chemistry onstage was extremely powerful. So whether they will be releasing a single together, or perhaps an E.P or even a full-length album, we’ll be sure to be looking out for this future collaboration. |

She will also open up about her current relationship with underground Rapper Curtis Cash and with her soul brother Kidd Amaze. "The industry has definitely tried to be shady towards me and that's definitely something I expected, I'm not the artist you automatically love, I'm different from a lot of people but I'm ready to prove a lot of people wrong. I have a lot of different things to offer and you will see them little by little over time. I'm definitely not afraid of hip hop and I'm not afraid to get a little dirty, which is why I'm not threatened by anyone, because that shit is my core. I think that as of right now, I'm more focused on the energy of my record "Love.Sex.Magic" and it is something I am proud of and will be remembered in urban music for a very long time. As long as I keep my name in people's mouth, I'm all right. I'm here to entertain and keep R&B music fresh and alive." - BarbarianThe issue is set to hit stand on November 27, 2013.
