Alec looks up when Honor walks into the living room and gives her a little smile. He was done arguing - he didn't even want to argue in the first place. He assumed that they would do the same thing they always do, which is just sit quietly and pretend like it never happened. When she sits down on the couch next to him, he puts his arm around her waist and pulls her a little closer to him. Alec kisses the top of her head softly, taking in the smell of her hair. "I'm sorry," he whispers.

Alec is stunned when Honor tells him that she loves him. After the fight that they had, it was the major thing that he was not expecting to happen today... or any time soon. "I... love you, too," he says back just as softly, a huge grin spreading across his face. He kisses her softly, and then again, with much more passion. "Thank you," he whispers, not sure what else to say to explain how happy he is that she finally admitted to loving him.

Alec sits back and relaxes much more into the couch. This entire time, he had felt that their relationship was continually on the rocks. He was openly in love with her, but she never seemed to return it. That was reason enough to worry about their status, and that wasn't even putting all the outside factors into play. But now he felt like he could finally relax. There was no reason to worry anymore. They were going to work out - there was no doubt in his mind about that. "Uh, yeah," Alec says, being shaken out of his happy daze. "Of course is a Barbra movie. What other kinds of movies are there?" He smirks a little. "This is a good one, though. She's a psychiatrist, and he right there-" he points to Nick Nolte. "His sister is Barbra's patient, and his sister just tried to kill herself, so Barbra is asking Nick Nolte about his childhood to see what could have driven his sister to suicide. It's a really sad movie, but man, I love it."

"Yeah, I can assure you that A.) my manliness died long, long ago, and B.) there is absolutely nothing healthy about my infatuation with Barbra Streisand," Alec says back with a laugh, shaking his head, sure that Honor had no idea what she was getting into when she admitted that she loved him. "No, I'm fine. Thank you, though. Do you want anything? I can get us something."

Alec smirks as well. "Yeah, I'm really into the older ladies. That's why I'm dating you," he says back, shaking his head. He kisses her and then gets up from the couch and heads into the kitchen for a couple bottles of water. "Hey. What was it that made you go out with me?" He asks from the kitchen as he grabs the bottles of Evian and walks back into the living room. He hands one to Honor and sits back down. "And be honest."

Alec chuckles when Honor remarks that the reason why she originally started dating him was because he was good in bed. Honestly, he probably would have accepted that answer happily and proudly. He knew that their sex life wasn't the only reason they were together now. But the fact that she goes on makes him ten times happier with her response. "It was just something that I've been wondering," he says back. "We definitely don't seem like each other's type. And physical attraction can only go so far. I was just wondering what it was exactly that got us over that original hump of just fooling around together and got us into dating." He shrugs.

Alec nods, listening to Honor. Everything she was saying was completely true, and he was glad that she had come to the same conclusions that he had. They were on the same page - something that rarely happened with the two of them - and he could not be happier about it. "You could never be ugly to me, Honor," Alec says back, pulling his girlfriend closer to him and kissing the top of her head. "I mean it. If you lose all of your looks when you hit thirty, I'll still think you're just as beautiful as the day we first met." He smiles at her - one of his rare, genuine smiles - and runs his fingertips through Honor's hair.

Alec grins. "You know what they say. You are what you drink. And just like wine, the older I get, the better I am..." He hesitates. "Or is it 'eat?' That could work as well. I eat a lot of fancy cheeses." He puts his arm around her and sighs happily. Things in their relationship just keep getting better and better.
