  The Urban Music Awards will be presented annually,and will broadcast live on BET networks. The first ceremony will take place on December 1, 2013 in the Nokia Theatre, Los Angeles, California. The annual presentation ceremony will feature performances by artists, and some of the awards of more popular interest are presented in a televised ceremony. The UBA's (The Urban Music Awards) will cater to all genres of music with the exception of genre-specific categories. Unlike your traditional award show at The Rock Star Game, these award shows will only take place once a year, to give enough time to fill in the categories. You will be given a short period of time to plug your acts and you may plug as many acts as you please as long as they meet the requirements for nomination. The voting process will be very simple. Using Survey Monkey, I will be collecting all the votes, and you will be given a short period of time to place your votes. Anyone can partake in the voting process, but will be strictly monitored. Any form of tactical votes will be deleted and will not be counted. Anyone caught cheating or voting unfairly will be banned from voting process. You will not be allowed to vote for your own act in the voting process. This include any songs in which any of your artists are featured on as a vocalist. Everyone is allowed to be a judge, so get your gavels ready and serve some good JUSTICE to the people of TRSG game! Vote fair and honest. Research the songs and see which one you think genuinely deserves to win. Do not vote for your friends, and do not vote for the host of the votes to kiss ass. You are to pick ONE option from each category, that being your best and fair option. You must vote on all categories.
You may not vote for your own act; even if it's a featured song. Ex: Artist - Song feat. Your Act, vice versa
Please make sure that you monitor your votes as well, if you make a mistake you will not be allowed to fix or vote once again after it is submitted.

Update!
Just want to thank all the votes thus far! Due to server being down, deadline for voting is now November 27, 2012. Please get your votes in by then, after that I cannot take in any more votes.
Just want to remind all performers to work on your RP's, doesn't have to be too fancy, it can simply be pictures and a set list but if you want to write a novel you are more than welcome to just jk lol ;) If you think you wont be able to make it, please have the RP sent to me before the award show that way I can post it for you! If you need help please let me know!
There will be a red carpet event, so if you want to organize a pre-show award show performance and/or special entrance and/or interview please let me know ASAP :)
All presenters, I've sent you a PM regarding the event!
Anyone is welcome to attend this event, you don't have to be an "urban act" to attend :)
The timeline for the award show will be provided to you in a couple of days! There will be special surprises so stay tuned!
And yeah that's that, let's get the show on the road, see you all at the ceremony which takes place December 1st, 2013 at 2:00pm US New York Eastern time!
