erich comes in from doing some shopping. mainly for oodles of junk food neither of them need. but he did pick up an orange or two for appearance. he had lived in new york for a while now,and been all over the world. but he still never got used to the cold. even though he knew ada was there,the hug always surprised him. "beer no...sushi? probably not? i am sure something in raw fish is terrible for growing babies." he says over his should at the blonde head behind him. he watches her preg her way onto the counter before speaking.he didnt want to break her concentration. "i love you to,potato. while being pregnant and walking in the cold makes good stories for our children,you'll just have to lie." he smiles to her and stand in front of her,massaging her shoulders. "well i was thinking naked twister with the harpers,it is the holidays after all. later we could see who could smoke a carton of cigarettes the fastest." he chuckles.

" you poor thing. just a few more months until you can smoke and hold the baby. just like dear old ma used to do." erich feigns wiping a tear. erich offers his nail to ada. "if you run out of your own nails,feel free to use mine." he thinks as he holds his hand out to ada,thinking nothing strange of other people chewing his nails. " well.erica is off in japan. karoliena is...wherever cassie summers is. sam fischer is....had a sex change and known as sonyae now..." he shrugs. "i think we are going stag tonight. being the pregnant one of us,you have dinner choosing right. i only ask we dont have mexican. it isnt seasonal and i dont wish to fool with mother nature." he says seriously.

"No biting my nails. Got it. " erich grins back ,using his unchewed fingers to drum lightly on the counter. " we'll save spousal fingernail chewing for our vow renewal night." He states,eyeing Ada's fingers with a crazed look in his eye before laughing. "Yeah, I'm sure Nichole would be so sad to be stuck between those." Erich says with a weak giggle. He didnt know particulars,but knew things weren't hunky dory over in the house of Fischer. " we have been getting loads of those Swiss colony catalogs. We could send her loads of chocolate. Too. Is she...um... ok?" Erich smiles at Ada,thankful they were still going strong. " we should find that diner Travis eats pie in in taxi driver." Erich suggests. Taxi driver and pie are two very good things in his mind.

erich grins back at ada when she hides her hands and leans foward to kiss her.as their lips touch,he grabs her hand. "its my hand now!" he says as the kiss ends. he laughs,enjoying the playing he and ada always do. at least those times when they arent at each others throats. erich squeezes adas hand with a sigh. "yeah. nichole has been through so much,and now with sam fucking off on her? shit.....detroit isnt that big a drive from here. you wanna go?" erich says suddenly. planning things through was never his forte. " we are different than sam and nichole. our relationship is built on a strong foundation of lovers spats. i bet they never had a singe argument.well,at least that didnt stem from erica." he says with a laugh.

erich grins at adas squeals. "such tender little fingers you have,little red riding hood." he says as he kisses her cheek and sighs happily with her arms around him. "hows that baby coming?" he asks looking down at the round belly between them. he was getting more excited by the day with the reality of being parents with ada. he knew they could do it.even if he was sure some people had bets who would be worse parents, he and ada or erica and natalya. erich scoffs and wraps his arm around ada. "ada,my dear? with your dashing good looks,and my thirst for danger? i wager we could make it there in 5 hours!" he jokes with his typical dramatic air. if anything,it would take them 3 days to reach detroit. erich would drive like an elderly squirrel and make sure ada doesnt have to hold her pee for a second. erich gives a disappointed sigh. he actually looked to nichole and sam as what a relationship could be. hell,he looked to sam for inspiration on how not be a drug fiend.

Erich looks down at Ada's belly,letting his forehead touch hers. " good good. I bet our little princess is going to look like you." Ada's childhood cuteness was undeniable. He himself......wasnt so." A baby shower in Detroit? Will it be fallout themed? The place is a hell hole." Erich jokes with his wife. " it would have to be Detroit. Nichole can't wrangle 3 kids on a plane. We'll make some flyers that read: " come drink in front of a pregnant woman. Cost,one gift." "Erich squeezes Ada's hand softly. " probably call. What if we show up and she has a gentleman caller?! " erich asks,aghast. " you are probably beyond the time where you can fly safely,huh?"

" your nose is adorable.but seeing as we're big time music acts,it's expected out off spring will have nose jobs,boob jobs,liposuction,sex changes. You know,the works!" Erich says excitedly. The post apoclyptic baby shower sounds like a brilliant idea,one pretty much only they would do. " of course,Ada. Think of All the lovel shower games we could have! " erich exclaims,his mind already racing with Cold War zing. " cheap asses will be shown the door and given a bottle of dish soap to drink. I know dollar store baby items when I see them. No asbestos onesies for OUR baby!" Erich nods with certainty. While he didnt want their baby catching fire,cancer didnt seem to appealing either. "Driving it is,then. Seven months already?! I guess it's too late to change our minds now. " he jokes. Ada looked about ready to deliver right now. He couldn't imagine her tummy getting any rounder. It was adorable,but looked semi painful. Erich leans beside Ada and shrugs. " I can't profess to know much about her. But she doesn't seem like the sort to sit around and mope.shes been sans.....you know,for quite awhile. " erich scoots so his hand is touching Ada's leg. Starting to worry for Ada's friend. He knew only the basics of Nichole,but didnt want any undue stress on Ada.
