'Santa Baby' is the third overall single by British girl group The Dolls, but this song will not feature on their up coming album 'Dollhouse', the song was written by the late Etta James and was produced by The Dolls member Melva Dixon and Nevaeh Martinez, the song will be released on the 14th of December and is a charity single to help those in the Philippines, the song has a total length of two minutes and fifty eight seconds.

the song has three overall genres that combine together to make the song, these are Jazz, Swing and R&B, the song has an overall Jazz feel to it which is why Jazz is the songs main genre, the swing element comes into about a third of the way into the song when a big band section comes into play and gives the song the swing vibe, the R&B comes into play as the girls have very urban vocals during the song, giving it that R&B edge.

the song starts with Melva very soulfully singing the opening verse of the song, this section of the song has a very lightly Jazz feel to it, as the second comes in once again Melva sings the verse singing in a more of a sexier tone than what she did in the first verse, then there is a very small big band section before Laura's very weak singing voice can be heard singing the next verse she sing with very breathy vocals as singing is not her strong point due to hee being mainly the rapper of the group, Laura's vocals are like Melva's very light and Jazzy, then another small big band section plays before Laura's weak vocals are heard once again this time as like Melva dis before Laura sang this verse in a more sexier tone, then another big band section plays before Lacy's soft and elegant vocals can be heard this song marks the first time Lacy truly gets to show off her vocals, as Lacy finishes singing another big band section can be heard, before Lacy voice can be heard again, again as the two girls before her singing in a sexier tone but with a more bluesy feel in her vocals, then when Lacy finishes singing Elle's husky vocals can be heard singing the final verse which she sings in a sort of blues meets sarcasm kind of way singing certain parts of the song in a very sarcastic voice, then another big band section can be heard, before once again Elle's voice can be heard but instead of singing in a more sexier tone like the girls before her had instead she sings in a more quieter and almost tearful way, then all the girls sing together for the first time throughout the whole song, singing in complete unison before the big band music plays out until then end of the song.

the music video for the song was shot a few days prior to the release of the song, the video features all five girls in the themed outfits so Melva wi appear throughout the video in very girly almost children like outfits, Lacy will appear in grown up and mature outfits, Katie in tomboy like outfits, Laura in country girl outfits and Elle in ranchy outfits, the video starts with merry Christmas showing up on the screen before the video begins to move around a house zooming in on all the important things at Christmas like the tree, the food, the presents and happy faces, after this Melva appears in her themed outfit, being all flirty with the camera, the video then reverts back to the room with the Christmas things in once again showing more Christmas stuff, like ball balls for the tree, Christmas crackers, Christmas lights and festive chocolate, then Laura appears on screen with all the other girls around her all in their themed costumes, before oonce again the camera reverts back the room, this time showing things like the christmas stockings, the presents and the fairy light on the tree, then Lacy appears on screen on her mature outfit with the others around her as the video then again brings up the merry Christmas from the beginning of the video then all the girls are seen outside the house on the balcony before, happy Christmas and a happy new year come up on screen with the help Philippines charity logo.
