Kai had been out of bed for about an hour, but he had yet to do anything of note. His past few days had been spent recording his new single, so he was taking a day to himself, at least he was until Honor had given him dog's abuse on Twitter. Normally he'd accept it, but he genuinely couldn't think of a single thing he had done wrong. Expecting her arrival, Kai had showered and put on some board shorts and a basketball shirt. Now he was laying on the couch, racking his brain to think of what he had done wrong.

Still a little tired from his exertions over the last few days, Kai was drifting in and out of sleep as he lay on the couch. He occasionally took a drag of his smoke as he thought about Honor. His feelings for her were obvious, and he was glad to be seeing her, but he got the feeling she hated him, and that troubled him. Kai could never go more than a few hours without thoughts of her filling his head - he had it bad for her - and he often remembered their kiss and the night they spent together fondly. As he started to drift off once again, he was suddenly jolted awake by a knock on the door. Jumping to his feet, he quickly runs his fingers through his hair and walks to the door. When he opens it, he smiles a little awkwardly at Honor. She was as beautiful as ever, and Kai was so happy to see her, but her attitude confused him. "Hey?" he asks quietly, stepping aside and holding the door. "You, like, wanna come in?"

Kai looks at Honor as she comes inside his house. Last time they had been here, both were drunk, but enjoyed a wonderful night together. He got the feeling today wasn't going to be quite as fun - perhaps, he dreaded, she was here to tell him that he had to leave her alone. He closes the door behind her and sighs as he walks in behind her, shoving his hands into the pockets of his shorts. He almost didn't want her to speak, because he instinctively knew it would be bad news that would leave him hurt, but he felt he had to be polite. "Do you want a-" he starts before she suddenly cuts him off, confusing him with her question. "Mario?" He is quite taken aback by her question. "What the fuck are you even talking about?" he says with a genuine look of confusion on his face.

Kai could see the attitude in the way Honor was addressing him. He really had pissed her off after all. He scratches the back of his head and looks a little perplexed. "I haven't fucked her at all. And why do you think that?" he said with a little shrug. "Why? Like...why would it matter if I had?" he felt like Honor was suggesting he was cheating on her or something, but they weren't together, and in Kai's mind he couldn't really work out what was getting to her. Was she jealous? He narrows his eyes. "I'm getting a beer. I think you need one too." he walks to the fridge and grabs two bottles

Kai opens the lids of the beer bottles and then places them down when she starts to rant, turning and facing her with his hands on the counter behind him. He looks totally shocked, and he stands there open mouthed. "Jesus Christ, Wynter," he says quite curtly. "You think I've fucked her? I haven't. Believe me or don't believe me, but I have not fucked Mariko." He shakes his head and sighs loudly. "And you are not part of any list, mate. You honestly think that after I laid everything out like that to you?" He looks at the floor, trying to remain calm as he takes a drink from his beer. "I was just chatting to her. I fucking told you that you are the only one I want because it's true. I might play a game with some women, Honor, but fuck. You are the only person I have ever been totally honest with. I mean why do you even care if I flirt? You've got Alec, you don't even want me."

Kai sunk the beer he had in his hand and tossed the empty in the trash before starting on the one he had brought for Honor. He was getting frustrated with her. She was the one who would not get with Kai, but now she wanted to make sure he wasn't with anyone else? If this was anyone else, Kai would throw her onto the kerb, but he couldn't bring himself to with Honor. "I didn't say it was news to me. I just have no clue what you're getting at. What, are you jealous that I flirted with Mariko? I don't get it, Honor. What do you want? You want me to fucking reserve myself for you until you decide you want me?" he says. It sounded angry, but in all honesty, if she said yes, he totally would reserve himself for her. She had a grip on him that he could not explain at all. When she turns to leave, he drops his beer and stands straight up. She was clearly making to leave, trying to drive him out of her life, and Kai's normally nonchalant self was reacting. He couldn't lose her. He didn't ever want to. He loved her more than anything, even though she confused the hell out of him every day. He starts down the hall behind her. "You think I give a shit about Mariko, or Erica, or Pixie, or Suzie....or....or Faith, Wynter? I fucking don't. You can't see how I feel about you? Really? I could not give a shit about anyone. Do you know why?" He breathes a little heavier.

Kai stares at her for a few minutes without saying anything. Honor was perfect in every way to him, even when she was being like this to him. He could never bring himself to hate her, no matter what she did or said to him. "You know something Wynter? You might not be ready to move on from....him...or to even give me a chance..but..." he stops for a moment as he feels like he might tear up. "Fucking hell, you are the one. No matter what you say to try to convince me you're not, you are the one." He shakes his head and looks at her again. He had never felt so close to anyone in his life, and he knew no matter what happened, he would never want or need anyone like he did Honor. "I know...I know you have a life. I just wish I could have a chance. He can't love you like I do. It's not possible." When she rationalises her own feelings as just being female, Kai tries not to laugh at the very honest and real statement. "I know. Maybe deep down I wanted you to be jealous. Maybe I needed to see that you cared enough to notice what I was doing. Fuck it, maybe I'm a bit female in that respect too." He shakes his head. "But if you don't want me to flirt...I would never flirt with anyone again." He takes a step closer. "I just...I just fucking love you and you can't blame me for doing stupid things for love."
