Just A Dose is an American music television program broadcast by MTV . The first ceremony will take place on January 25th, 2014 in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York . The annual ceremony occurs during the first month of every year . It features performances from today's top artists from all over the world who perform unreleased music for fans to give them a "dose" of what the artist is doing in the new year . It also contains a top 20 countdown of the artists who fans believe will takeover 2014 . These fans were to vote either on the official website or via Twitter . Along with airing all over America , it also airs live in England and Canada . The host of the program is yet to be revealed to the public along with the current nominees of the top 20 countdown .

OOC: This isn't exactly an "award" but it is definitely something to brag about and everyone is eligible to be entered . Basically , PM me your nominations by Sunday and on Monday , the first round of voting will begin . You'll have to pick who you think deserves to be in the running by Friday , and the 20 with the most votes will become nominees . Then the nominees will be announced on Saturday and the second round of voting will start . You'll have to vote how many tweets each artist "received" , except for yours . In this round , you have to give your artists 0 votes and NO ONE ELSE . Meaning the only person who should get 0 tweets from you is yourself . It would be nice if you actually put some thought into these . For example , don't just give someone like Stephanie Fierce the maximum amount of votes just because she's Stephanie Fierce with the countless amount of #1's . Maximum amount of votes should go to someone who was very active in 2013 , buzz-worthy and also released great music that received an outstanding response all around (high chart positions , good reviews , etc.) .
