ooc: Was supposed to post this last night after 12AM but that didn't work out :P About the trackAll Night is the new single from R&B/Pop singer AJ the song was written and produced by him as well it's been about 3 years now since he's released any music at all his debut album was more of a teen pop album due to him being on Disney channel he expressed his dislike for the album about a year later stating he was unhappy being given songs that he had to record and sing without any say in the matter AJ had always wanted to release R&B music like the song he's releasing today however Disney didn't want that for him after releasing the album and three singles which flopped AJ decided he didn't want to release any other music until he had full control so he focused on his show with Disney "Andrew's Big Break" which ran for 7 seasons it just ended a little earlier this year after leaving Disney Andrew had decided now would be the perfect time to release his own music so he began doing covers and posting some original songs onto YouTube to keep people interested as he recorded his new music he signed a deal with new record label FREEDOM recently as well so now signed to a new label and having the freedom to do what he wanted with this album AJ decided it was perfect time to release music now he decided on releasing "All Night" as his comeback single
The song starts with a piano being played which doesn't last too long before we hear AJ come in singing the first line in a smooth tone as he sings we also hear a bit of what sounds like a drum in the back playing with the piano the song stays slow as he continues singing the verse in that smooth sort of sexy tone which is completely different from his previous music AJ sounds a lot more mature on this track and the lyrics are a bit more controversial than his previous music as AJ begins singing the last bit of the first verse we hear the piano and his voice pick up a bit sounding like it was building up for the chorus getting more intense we then hear the chorus come in where the beat full kicks in now and we hear Andrew singing a bit louder now as he sings the chorus he sounds pretty good but he wasn't exactly showing off his vocal talents just yet the lyrics now were a lot more controversial than his previous music it seemed as if he was just trying to shake off the Disney image with this track the track then slow down a bit and AJ begins singing in that smooth and kinda sexy voice once again before the chorus kicks back in which is sung and played just like the one before it we then hear the track slow down a bit as Andrew goes into a higher tone now and works his way down back to that lower smoother tone we heard before as he sings the "Oh ohhh woah oh oh oh yeah" we then hear him sing the first few lines of the first verse once again as the song sounds like it's building up we then hear the chorus some in once again this time however he adds some ad libs in the back adding some runs and singing higher showing off his voice a bit more this time around we then hear the piano as it plays an outro of the song before it eventually comes to an endAJ's commentsHey so I'm really glad to be doing what I love again which is releasing music and I'm happy to say I have a lot more control over my music this time around and I've improved a lot since the last album I think my music this year is going to be so much better because it's actually coming from me and even if there's a song I didn't write I at least know I liked it and had a say in whether or not I used it but yeah I wrote this song a little while back I think the meaning is for this song pretty clear I also produced this track which was a new experience for me I think it came out pretty good though I decided to release this song as the lead single because I thought this one would show my growth as a person and artist and vocally too plus this is definitely one of my favorite songs I've recorded so I thought I'd share this with you guys it's ery different from what I released before the sound and meaning are completely different so I'm hoping I don't lose too many supporters by releasing this but if I do then that's their choice this is the music I like and I hope you enjoy it too thanks for checking it out and happy New Years have a great one guysTitle: All Night Label: FREEDOM Genre: R&B Lenght: 3:45 Writer(s): AJ Marshall Producer(s): AJ Marshall Released: January 1st 2014 We gonna ignite the flame tonight
