ooc: Apologies that this is so long. Had to convey the road to death for Natalya in my own typical rambling style.
A few minutes after the scissors had entered her neck, Natalya feels a warm calm starting to wash over her body where the icy wave of fear had previously been so viciously crashing against her. She could no longer feel the painful contractions between her legs, which in her mind meant Takara had passed over and was waiting for her wherever she may be destined to go next. It was a thought that comforted and soothed her as she took a deep breath, the effort making the blood pump faster from her open wound. Her gaze moved away from Takeshi at last. He had been the architect of her demise, but she told herself he would not be the last thing she saw. As she attempted to breathe in again, it was more laboured, far more difficult than before, but she didn't panic, didn't fight it at all. She simply allowed her eyes to close for a moment, as if she were ready to fall asleep. Her head would momentarily fall to the side, and when she opened her eyes once again, she couldn't see Takeshi any more. This time she saw the one thing that took the calm away, replacing it with an intense sadness that filled her lungs with sobs -sobs her tired and dying body didn't have the energy to release. She stared at the photo of Erica on the wall, her brain allowing her a final few thoughts - she cried internally at the thought she would never see Erica again, cried for the fact she had not been the wife she could have been and felt a sadness like no other as she realised she was about to lose her one true love forever. As her eyes started to cloud over, she wished Erica was there with her. When she had been sick before, Erica had never allowed anything bad to happen to her. Erica had always nursed her back to health. Erica would never have allowed Takeshi to do this to her. But Erica wasn't here, and it had happened. She blinked once and a tear rolled down her cheek. "Where were you?" she asked the picture sadly, before her head was forcibly turned, ripping away her final look at her beautiful wife, the woman she knew she would always love no matter if Takeshi had torn away their ability to be together.
There was to be no comfort in death for Natalya. The last thing she would see was the very man who had done this to her, to Takara, the baby she was sure was dead inside her. As his hands moved closer to her face, she tried to close her eyes, but he was too intent on carrying out his goal. She felt his thumb and finger pressing her eye, but her body had lost the capacity for pain now. Everything went black on one side of her body as Takeshi's fingers invaded her eye socket, unstoppable in his desire to get what he had always wanted. Natalya was too tired to be scared. She wanted to sleep, and she knew it would all be over soon, her own body told her there wasn't long left now, and she took one last chance to look up, one last chance to use her sense of sight from the one eye that had yet to be blinded. This was to be it, little more than 20 years of a life that had brought so many ups and downs was to be bookended by a death so violent and bloody it eerily mirrored the difficult birth her mother had endured to bring her into the world. Natalya let out one last groan, tried to breathe in one last time, but the ability to do so evaded her. Time seemed to stop in that moment. For her, everything was about to end, and as the scene in front of her faded out like the end of a movie scene, she waited for it all to end. As the darkness slowly engulfed every sense she had left, Natalya could no longer move. Nor feel. Nor hear. Nor see. Nor protect. Nor love. The body of Natalya Kobayashi lay still and cold below Takeshi, lifeless, empty and without the desire nor ability to resist his every sick fantasy.
ooc: PS. I just cried like a fucking baby writing that post. I really need to be less attached to these fictional characters.
