Every now and again, Scott would look from the kitchen through into the living room to see the kids were alright. Logan was asleep in his basket near the door, breathing gently as he caught up on the sleep he lost keeping his parents up all night. At the other side of the room, Sophie and Bailey were playing with a dolls' house, laughing at each other and babbling away. Scott smiles at them, he loved the fact the girls were such good friends - it made life much easier. As he returns to the kitchen, he ties his hair back in a ponytail and goes to the other side of the room to pour himself a coffee as he waits for the dinner to cook. He smiles when he hears a voice, looking up to see Gia. "Hey, sweetie, you alright? You look tired," he chuckles, knowing where she had been. "I haven't seen you look that colour since....well since Logan was conceived." He laughs and kisses her. "Dinner should...should..be ready soon."

Scott smirks. "Good stuff. You look totally flustered. And I didn't even hear any buzzing." He takes the pot off the hob and onto the side as he nods through at Gia. "Hmmm? Oh yeah, he's been out like a light ever since we got back from the park. I'm starting to think he might just be trolling us at night when he can't sleep," he jokes before grabbing the oven gloves. "I didn't know I knew how to cook either," he laughs. However, as he opens the oven door, his face drops. "And apparently I was right." He lifts the tray with the burnt roast out and tosses it on the table. "Well that was a waste of time."

Scott laughs and raises his eyebrows. "Yeah...it's been a while though," he says, half joking, half serious. They hadn't been together in a long long time. Scott looks down at Logan when he cries a little in his sleep. "I think that's it. Or maybe he's a vampire. Those bastards are always up in the middle of the night." He smirks and then shrugs at his failed attempt at cooking. He tips the roast into the bin, followed by the veg. "Nah, it's cool. I'll call a pizza or something, maybe. That's if I can actually use a phone." He shakes his head. He was trying his best to adapt to domestic life, but it was proving a lot harder than he thought, and it frustrated him at times. He had never been bad at anything before, but he felt useless at being a husband and father.

Scott sighs as he looks at the wasted food in the top of the bin. He was disappointed that he had waste the dinner that he had so wanted to prepare for his family. He looks over at Gia. "Sorry. I just....I fucked up again. I'm no use at this sort of crap." He shakes his head and puts the dirty dishes into the sink. "Pizza is easier though. Someone else cooks that. See what happens when we try to have home cooked meals. And there's no way I'm having peanut butter and jelly. I was born on the wrong side of the Atlantic for that." He smirks a little as she puts her arms around him. "Yeah......I mean...I just wish I could help out more, Gia. I suck at all this."

"I know....I know," he says quietly. Scott was desperate now to be good at something - especially since his musical skills were basically irrelevant in retirement. "Yeah, but I want to make a difference. I want to be able to say I helped. I can't keep just killing people who threaten us," he says jokingly. He narrows his eyes. "Because it's just....no. Peanut butter is vile for a start. And jelly is actually called jam. I don't know why I live in a country where you all get it wrong so often," he says with a wink. "Fine, no pizza for Sophie." He takes a bottle of orange from the fridge. "I, however, am a grown ass man. Can you stop me having pizza?" He smirks at her. When she calls him amazing, he smiles. "Thanks, babe."

"I never said anything was wrong with your cooking," he says with a strange look towards her. "Are you just going to give her sandwiches for Sunday lunch? Surely pizza is more of a meal than sandwiches?" He shrugs. "What about Bailey? What does she eat now?" He looks at her as she starts to get things ready for her dinner. "Okay, no problem babe," he says. Scott takes out his phone and orders a margherita pizza to be delivered before walking into the living room. He flops onto the couch and turns on the TV. "Everything alright, ladies?" he asks his two daughters. "Yes," Bailey answers. Scott chuckles and flicks to a football game.

Scott smirks a little. "I meant me. You're just a regular Gordon Ramsay in the kitchen, babe. Hence why I have learned to duck when you're cooking." He smiles at her and winks. "Pizza isn't good for her to be eating all the time, I know. But hey, she knows her dad likes to give her treats then she might like me more," he laughs. Scott smiles at Gia. Her mood seemed to have changed now, and she didn't look happy at all, but he had no idea why. "Everything alright, babe?"

Scott laughs a little. "Wow.....I didn't know your sense of humour came out when you gave birth..." he lifts his eyebrows and sighs. He was a bit annoyed that she was managing to bring an argument out of nothing here. He lifts his coffee and takes a drink. "I wasn't honestly. I was just pissed off at myself for spoiling dinner when I thought I was doing a good thing. You know what? Scrap the pizza. Your cooking is fine, Gia. I mean I've been eating it for 2 and a half years."

Scott smirks a little at Gia. She was clearly feeling a little stressed or something. He couldn't quite work it out. "Geez.....talk about blowing something out of proportion, woman," he says with a little shake of his head. "I wasn't having an attitude with you anyway. It was with myself." He drinks the last of his coffee and puts the cup in the dishwasher before shrugging. "Fine. I'll have the pizza," he says jokingly, although he knew she wouldn't take it that way at all. "Yeah. Go take your shower, babe. And chill out while you're there." He winks at her.

Scott shakes his head a little and watches her as she goes up the stairs, thinking better of playfully slapping her butt as he might have done when she was in a better mood. However, he does have a plan. He walks back into the living room and towards Sophie and Bailey quickly, lifting them up. "hey!" Sophie protests, grabbing her toys. Scott smirks and puts them both in the playpen in the corner of the living room. "Play nice. I need to go talk to mommy," he says, turning the baby monitor on and taking the receiver with him. Scott closes the living room door and jogs up the stairs and into their bedroom. He places the baby monitor on the side so he can hear if the kids start crying downstairs, and walks to the bathroom door, listening to hear Gia. If she was growling and smashing things, he certainly wasn't going to go into the room.
