Track: Get It From You Artist : Amy-Jayne Length : 2.50 Release Date: 19th January 2014 Genre : Alternative R&B, Hardcore Rap Label : Titanic Records Written By : Amy-Jayne Produced By: miTER_b, Will.Rocca Sounds Like: Kat Dahila - Helen KellerGet It From You is the fifth and final single from Amy-Jayne's debut album Spotlight, the song was written Amy-Jayne herself and was supposedly written about Will, the song was produced, mixed and mastered by miSTER_b along with Amy-Jayne boyfriend Will.Rocca who help with the more urban beats while miSTER_b focused more on the drum and bass beats of the song as that is were he works best at, the song has a total length of two minutes and fifty seconds, the song will be released by Titanic Records on January 19th the song has two main genres Alternative R&B and Hardcore Rap, Alternative R&B is incorporated by the beat of the song and also is implemented by Amy-Jayne's vocals Hardcore Rap is implemented by Amy's rap sections in the song and is also incorporated by the beat in the rap sections.the song starts with an almost drum & bass like beat, Amy-Jayne then comes in and begins to sing the first verse in a rather odd and unusual Jamacian accent which gives the song a reggae vibe the verse is sung in a rather sultry and flirty sort of tone to emulate the sexual nature of the lyrics of the song, the beat then changes as Amy-Jayne begins to sing the chorus without the Jamaican accent that she sang with in the first verse instead she sings once again with the aggressive tone like the previous track from the album had, Amy-Jayne's vocals then become less aggressive and once again more sultry and seductive tone, the beat once again changes to a drum and bass sound that was in the opening of the song , Amy-Jayne then begins to sing the second verse once again with the Jamaican accent which gives the song a reggae vibe and the drum and bass beat dies down, the beat then changes once again back to the way it was in the previous chorus were it has the more aggressive beat Amy-Jayne then begins to sing the chorus but this time she switches in and out of the Jamaican accent rather than in the previous chorus were she just sang normally, after the second chorus there is a small instrumental break before Amy-Jayne raps the bridge of the song in a very seductive way also utilizing the Jamaican accent once again thus giving it the reggae vibe, Amy-Jayne repeates this bridge five times before once again with a Jamaican accent Amy-Jayne also sings some vocal rifts to show off her vocals throughout the song Amy-Jayne performs a total of five rifts she performs one just before singing the final chorus, this time singing it like the first chorus without the Jamaican accent, the beat of the song then plays for another five seconds before the song comes to an end. the music video for the song will premiere a week after the song, the setting of the music video is in an old run down warehouse, Amy is seen in the video in a black dress walk down the hallways also dancing around the warehouse, there is also a section were Amy-Jayne is in a room with fallen chandeliers and she dances around them, there is also a section were Amy is in a room that is empty and she is in the dancing and rolling around on the floor in a pink all in one underwear, the is also a section were Amy is now outside and is outside by what looks like a construction site, she then is seen with many dancers in a glittery gold top with high trousers and a white outfit that changes and switches between the two outfits there is also a section were Amy-Jayne is seen looking out of an old fashioned window there is another section were Amy-Jayne is seen simply in front of a plain red background with a 60s style microphone that Amy-Jayne sings into the video then goes blank , the video them has copyright Titanic Records at the end.
