Ada smiles. She loved that both of them were only children. It made their relationship so much more understandable in the way that they're both so stubborn, yet strive to make the other so happy. It made sense as to why they've lasted this long together. "You are going to be sooooo spoiled," Ada says to Marlena, shaking her head. "We are going to give you everything a little girl could ever want. And when you are older and want to date boys, I am going to let you date that smelly guy you meet at the coffee shop who has a mohawk. I will more than allow it."

"Oh, you are going to break so many hearts!" Ada squeals, looking at her daughter. She could tell that this was probably going to be an ongoing thing for the next few years. Planning her child's future. She will continue to do it until Marlena is old enough to tell her that what she's planning isn't what she wants, which she hopes will never happen any time soon. She runs his fingers through Marlena's wispy hair again and sighs. "I cannot wait to be back on the Duke," she admits. "New York City has been getting to me. Everybody is so depressed here."

"I did love it here. But... we have had so many fights here..." Ada sighs and points to the chair across from their couch. "That is where I was sitting when Rum walked into our house party, and I had to yell at her to get out." She points to the bedroom door. "And in there was where we got into the fight about you giving Erica money without telling me about it." She sighs, a small grin on her face. "Of course, in there was also where we filmed that sex tape, which we then sold to a stranger... So, many good memories as well. We just have better on the Duke."

"I am fine with the fact that you and Erica used to live there. I dealt with those feelings of jealousy before, and I can do it again. Erica no longer feels like a threat to me anyway..." Ada sighs. Erica was almost something to be pitied now, not something to be feared in the ways of romance. "And if Rum never steps foot on the Duke again, I am sure I will be fine. I can put those thoughts out of my head just fine if the perpetrator is not around..." She couldn't speak as to how Erica or Nichole would react once they step foot on the Duke, however. Their memories were their own.

"Oh, do not give me ideas. Next thing you know, I will be inviting Rum on the boat with us, and then setting sail towards the Bermuda Triangle." Ada laughs and shakes her head. She enjoyed hearing that Erica was never a threat to her, but she could vividly remember a time before dancing to Tom Jones when Erica and Erich were practically sew together. Even after Ada and Erich were together, Erich was still running off with Erica occasionally. She could never forget those times and the threat that they might happen again.

"I am so weirdly turned on by that voice..." Ada admits, grinning. She loved the film noir style. She would write torch songs and only perform Marlene Dietrich covers if she thought people would appreciate it as much as she did. She lays her head on Erich's shoulder and sighs. "When should we... set sail?"

"Oh, shag carpet! That will be good when one of us inevitably has too much to drink and ends up dropping her," Ada says back, her voice sounding serious but obviously joking. She stands up and stretches, still very much enjoying that she now gets to look at her feet and has the ability to put on shoes that aren't slip-ons. "I am going to go pack, and lovingly fondle my non-maternity clothing."

"Oh, yes? What do you do when I am away, Herr Hess? I had imagined you stand out on the balcony and shout obscenities at the pigeons, but now I think all you do is smell my t-shirts and try to fit into my dresses. I am concerned, but... only a little bit." Ada giggles and goes into the bedroom to begin packing. "Will I need to bring anything besides clothes and necessities? Is there food already aboard? Is there... booze?" Her eyes light up when she thinks about the fact that she'll be able to drink again.

Ada laughs, picturing Erich in her quintessential black and white dress. She hated to admit it, but he looked alright. Like a cute, butchy lesbian. "Oh, good. I was not in the mood to pack too much," Ada says as she starts going through her closet and packing everything that fit. She wasn't planning on selling their apartment, but she had no intentions of coming back here for a while. She needed to take every piece of clothing she might want with her. She looks over at Marlena and smiles. "We need to pack for you, too," she says with a grin. She loves all the baby clothes she got. So many lacy cupcake dresses and little white socks. Her daughter was going to look like she was in a beauty pageant every day.

Ada grimaces, thinking about the fact that all of the children besides her own and Virginia were fathered by one man. She thought it was sweet that Sam and Nichole had agreed to do that for Natalya and Erica, but she didn't think she would ever be able to accept that there was another child out there that had her husband's genes. She'd feel like he cheated on her even when he obviously didn't. She packs away the last of her clothing, which summed up to 12 shirts, 5 pairs of pants, 8 skirts, 4 dresses, and 9 pairs of shoes. She then begins packing away her jewelry box and all of her assorted perfumes. "Packing light, yes," Ada agrees quietly, hoping that her husband won't see how much she really is packing. "Most everybody on the ship likes us, right?" She asks. She knew that everybody on the ship liked Erich. That was really more of a question of if everybody still liked her. She had had some ups and downs lately, especially right before she told Erich that she was pregnant, and she wasn't sure how anybody felt about her anymore.
