"The dress cuts off where my boobs end? So....like they'll be out. God, I'm so sorry Eva, I am the worst at dresses and fashion. Can't I just wear jeans?" she whines. She looks down. "Yes you were blessed where I was not, Ms Wolfe. Next it'll be your dress we're shopping for," she smiles. It would have made her so happy to see Eva happy and with someone who she could love - she deserved it more than anyone. Katie smiles and takes a drink as she watches Eva look through the dresses again. When Eva pulls one off the rack, Katie's eyes light up. "Oh my God, EVA! It's amazing! She moves closer and puts her hand on the dress. I need it. Fuck weddings I just need this dress." She giggles. "Come on we have to try it on!" She starts to walk to the dressing room. "I want a train, but I don't want one that's going to like stop me dancing later. Can you take them off after the ceremony?"

Katie walks into the dressing room and squeals a little as she looks at the dress. It looked perfect with the sort of vintage feel that Katie had been looking for, even if she didn't know that was what she was after. Modern dresses would just look odd on her with her sense of style. She hods her champagne out to Eva. "Hold this. I don't want to get it all on the pretty dress." She giggles, feeling really girly for probably the first time in her life. "I want the longest train they have!" She was really getting into this and feeling excited now. She smiles as she closes the door, staring at the dress. She slowly undresses, looking at herself in the mirror as she does. Katie shakes her head and closes her eyes tightly. She was trying to banish the demons that always came out at times like this. "You're not fat, Katie," she whispers to herself. She had long battled an eating disorder, and the stress of a the wedding planning was really starting to bring the dark thoughts back. She takes a deep breath and opens her eyes. She lifts the dress and steps into it, pulling it into place. "Okay Eva" she yells. "Come and tie me in," she chuckles.

Katie holds her breath as she waits to see what Eva will make of her. When the door opens and Eva gasps, Katie smiles widely and claps her hands to her face. "Oh my God I'm so glad. Quick tie me up so I can look in the mirror." she turns to let Eva tie her into the dress as she listens to the compliments from her friend. "Oh my god, Eva. I'm going to cry if you don't stop all that," she chuckles. "You're so sweet to me." she closes her eyes tightly, not wanting to see the dress until everything is tied up and perfect. "You're not hurting me at all," Katie giggles. "It feels so comfy."

Katie feels a little nervous as she feels the dress getting done up. Even when Eva was constantly telling her how amazing she looked, Katie felt like she would look like Mr Stay Puft all in white. She takes a deep breath when she feels Eva tie the dress. "I don't want to open them," she says with a nervous laugh. But when she does, Katie is amazed by what she sees. She really did look beautiful, and she couldn't belief that the gorgeous bride stood there was her. She turns a little to each side, her eyes fixed on herself. "Wow..." she whispers, before she starts to tear up. "It looks so amazing, Eva. Do you like it?" Katie takes a tissue and dabs the corners of her eyes.

Katie smiles when Evangeline says she loves the dress and she turns to hug her, barely able to even contain her excitement. Suddenly, everything about the wedding seemed so much more real and exciting. She stands straight up and spins a couple of times as she stares at her reflection, totally hypnotised by how amazing she looked. "I do. I love it so much. I look like I should live in a castle. it's so beautiful Eva. Can I just keep it on forever?" She giggles. "I swear you are just the best friend in the world. I never would have picked this without you." She smiles at herself again. She really did look just perfect, and she knew Hayden would love it.

Katie smiles. "I think everyone is going to think of me as one of those mad women that get jilted and live in their wedding dress in bus stops for the next 20 years when they see me wear it every day," she giggles. "I just love it so much." She hugs Eva and squeals happily. Katie smiles at herself again as she imagines how the dress would look with a classy little tiara, and she almost doesn't see Eva's reaction to her comment. She was her best friend though. No one else was ever so sweet to her or earned her trust like Eva did by just being unquestionably nice to her. When she hugs her again, Katie is taken a little by surprise but she hugs her back. "Awww you're so sweet, Eva! I can't wait either. He's gonna drop to the floor when he sees us both. His beautiful bride and her amazing and spectacular maid of honor, Eva Wolfe!" She giggles. "That reminds me...you need a dress too!"

Katie smiles at Evangeline again. The fact she was so happy for Katie, as well as being so delighted to be a part of everything was one of the best things about Eva. She was a heart on the sleeve sort of girl, which was so much better to Katie than half of those deceitful and bitchy people she had been used to being friends with in the past - people who had turned on her. Twice. Eva was the sweetest person in the world, and one she could trust with her life. Other people had hurt her in the past, but Eva never would and they were so close considering they had only been friends a few month. She looks down at the dress again, instantly knowing that it was the dress she was going to walk down the aisle in. People always said you just know when you find your dress, but she thought that was a lot of nonsense. Until now. "I'm so glad you wanna be my maid of honor Eva. I can't think of anyone I want there with me more than you. And Hayden will love that I chose you." She thinks for a moment. "Ummm...I like purple and white. How does that sound?"

Katie watches Eva happily as she bounces away towards the dresses at the other side of the store, picking up the bottom of her own dress so she can run over beside her. "I'm buying this one, don't worry," she says to the store clerk who's now giving her the evil eye. As she reaches Eva, she stops and beams beside her. "You can get any kind of dress you want to, Evangeline. I want you to feel as happy and look as beautiful as you always do, so it's all your choice." She looks at all the lovely dresses, knowing Eva would know exactly what would look good on her.

Katie laughs and shakes her head as she takes another drink from her champagne. "Not at all, Eva. Your smiling face in your pretty dress will be more than enough to make whatever you choose perfect. Nothing could ruin the ceremony anyway. I'll be there with my man, my son and my best friend. Who could want more?" She smiles and thinks about the big day and how happy it will make her. The dress she had on was so comfy and amazing that Katie could barely stop looking at herself as Eva looked through the dresses. She was going to get involved, but she knew she would just say something stupid. Eva was the expert here, after all. She sits down on a couch just along from her, looking at some of the tiaras and wedding underwear, imagining how she would look in some of the lingerie. Most of what she owned was black or red, and that wouldn't work with this dress. She'd have to get white. She is just imagining herself in a few garments when Eva calls to her and she stands up. "Wow. Someone is gonna look amazing in this!" she beams. "I love the colour. Do you want to dry it on? Go on. I know you'll look incredible."

Katie slowly walks over behind Eva to the dressing room, walking in such a way that she is almost practicing her down the aisle walk. She starts to wonder if she could convince Hayden to make one of his single friends the best man, just so Eva could have a chance of meeting someone and being happy like she so deserved. Katie could barely believe someone so amazing was single. As Eva protests from behind the door, Katie smiles and shakes her head. "Yes, Eva. I swear I will," she smirks. "But I just know you will look amazing already." She sits again, waiting to see how her friend will look all dressed up in wedding clothes. "If you need me to zip you up, just shout, Eva. I can return the favour for you tying me in," she giggles.
