This was a completely different side of Kai for Faith. She had never seen him cry before, of course, but she had never seen him so apologetic before either. He had always been a bit of a stubborn bastard - which she was fine with. She'd be lying if she said that she didn't find him being a bit of an asshole sexy. But seeing proof that he really cared about her and about their relationship meant a lot to her - more than she could ever tell him. She almost felt like she should thank him for proving that she was really worth something to him. When he leaves to go make her some more tea, and takes a deep breath in, taking a minute to be alone in their bedroom. Her headache had gone away, but was now being replaced with nausea. Today was probably the worst day for them to have this conversation. She felt way too ill. She runs her hand through her still slightly damp hair and then follows Kai into the kitchen. "Is this, um... why you wanted to talk to Alec Holter?" She asks.

Faith nods as she listens to Kai explain. "That's probably for the best," she says back, leaning against the kitchen table, her arms crossed across her chest. With as much anger as she had felt towards Kai a few moments ago, it was nothing near the anger she felt towards Honor, and she would love nothing more than to see Honor's relationship blow up in her face. But she figured that it had to happen eventually, and she could wait a little bit longer until then. She sighs, looking down at her arms. She was calm enough to think rationally now, and still had a few questions for Kai. "Do you... or did you love her? Or anything like that?" She asks, looking up at him. She held eye contact. Honor had been somebody that she was afraid of for a long time. In fact, Honor was why Faith and Kai had gotten together in the first place, and Faith wasn't dumb - she understood that there was a distinct possibility that she had just been a replacement for Honor this whole time. The two of them were attractive, tattooed, strong-willed women. Hell, after Honor recently dyed part of her hair red, they were even starting to look a little bit like each other. She had to know exactly what had been going on between the two of them.

Faith takes a deep breath in. It was difficult to hear him say that he thought that he was in love with another woman, but she could deal with it. Or at least, at the point in time, it wasn't something that would upset her to the point of tears again - although she could sense that it was something that she would probably cry about later. But she was happy that Kai was being honest with her because she felt like, after hearing that he had cheated on her before, this was the first time he had been honest with her in a while. "Is there anything else I need to know?" she asks. "There's nothing I'm going to find out about later? No secrets, no other women, no other situations like we had with Serenity before?" She takes another deep breath in when she thought about when Kai was out with Serenity, openly flirting with her. She supposed she should have guessed that he was eventually cheat on her after that, but - like she said before - she wanted to believe that she could change him.

Faith nods and gives him a small smile. She was ready to start trying to put this situation behind them and move on. "Okay..." She says, moving towards him and wrapping her arms around his waist. "I love you. I honestly love you more than I've ever loved anybody before in my life. Don't forget that." She sighs, laying her head on his chest. Even with all his promises that something like this would never happen again, she knew she could never be fully sure of that. She just hoped that if he knew somebody at home loved him, then he wouldn't betray their trust again.

The semi renovated duke of Winchester floats off the coast of Normandy.while renovated to be a safe environment for children,many parts of the ship still look tetanus-ie. erica skips through the hall with a plate in her hand. She raps on serenity's door excitedly. " serenie!! I made waffles!! Lots of waffles! We have a fort on the aft deck,if you want to hide there." Erica was excited to have company,and was cranked up to 11.

Erica grins at the post sleep serenity. Erica was still in her pajamas as well. Hilariously old fashioned ones,complete with cap. "Why only the best waffles ever,blueberry with whipped cream!" She squeals before grabbing serenity's hand and tugging her towards waffle fort. She holds the fork with a slice of waffle over her shoulder to serenity. " how rude of me,oh have you been? I totally forgot to ask in my excitement ." She asks with a grin.

Erica giggles and nods. " yes,nobody loves those waffles that get all soggy and screw around on you with the hash browns. " she then starts singing "players only love you when they're playing" before really chortling. She opens the door to a room containing a small castle made of waffles. " ta-dah! Waffle kingdom. Th waffles have been shellacked,so no nibbling!"she gives serenity a way of her finger. Erica clearly deflates when asked about her break up. "Um.... I started an affair with Nichole while Natalya was nearly about to deliver...then she was..murdered. Now..I have no one." Erica put the plate down and wraps her arms around herself.

Erica gives serenity a little smirk," oh the old blue berries?" She giggles and makes a vulgar swinging motion with her hands. Erica gives a little shrug before smiling again. "Don't be. It is only natural to want to know. Since it happened,I've lived pretty closed off from everyone who didnt already know the details." Erica sits across on the floor across from serenity. The room is tiny and cramp,and smells of syrup. But it's cozy. "So,what's going on with you?" She brightly asks,taking a bite of waffle.

Erica grins at serenity." I should be obtuse more often. You do the cutest face palm ever!" Erica says with a shriek. It there is one thing Erica appreciates in life,it is cuteness. "Thank you,miss Scott." Erica says softly before giving her a tight hug back. Since everything went down,she appreciated hugs even more. " you would have liked her. Natalya was...great." She says with a bittersweet smile. " ooh,you always smell so nice." She says,with a grin that says she is has said all she will say about Natalya. "A book?! What's it called,who's it about,when can I buy it and is it appropriTe for children? " she says excitedly and near bouncing.

"IN THE FIELDS OF BODIES BURNING! AS THE WAR MACHINE KEEPS TURNING!" Jimmy shouted inside his car, his radio cranked to the highest volume as he tapped his steering wheel to the tune of War Pigs. "DEATH AND HATRED TO MANKIND! POISONING THEIR BRAINWASHED MINDS! OH LORD YEAH!"

Eventually he made his way to Eva's place, and as he exited his car he checked his message. Hrm, door was open.
